Appeal for people to help make refugees feel welcome in Cornwall....
An appeal has been put out to help more than a dozen refugee families feel welcome and settle into life in Cornwall. As part of a government scheme, Cornwall Council said that over the coming weeks the Afghan families will be welcomed into communities across the county.

The big difference here is that its families rather than marauding gangs of spear chuckers that are being housed in Cornwall .
Not that it makes it any better for locals looking for housing they can't afford but lets face it ,it could be a lot worse .

If they don't there will become a point where we will be back to the violence of the National Front era where they will just get beaten up so badly they will want to go. This has to stop, no matter which jerks are in power. I think the government secretly know this. Moving them to Hampstead is just unfair on those who live there, including my Italian woman. If they turn up in the West Country the farmer's boys will have them. |

Yet the government continue to allow hundreds of thousands of criminals to land on English beaches from the 'safe' EU, who then claim to be refugees/asylum seekers. If as little as 30 years ago someone had predicted this mess, they would have been laughed at. Don't be stupid people would have said, how could that possibly happen in this country. The Home Office, Civil Service and political elites on both sides of the house are quite obviously all pro EU/pro immigration. It doesn't matter what the people want the left wing establishment know best, and anyone who disagrees is a racist. But there is a glimmer of hope, unfortunately for the left wing establishment we will shortly have a general election. Reform UK will hopefully show Labour and this conservative shower of a government that the electorate have had enough of pro EU left wing/centrist policies.
