It seems the ulez blade runners in Londonistan are inspiring people in other parts of the country to take direct action against the ongoing war on the motorist. In this case Superintendent Thompson said... ..."We urge the community to report any suspicious activity or share any information that may aid our enquiries". LOL. Since it's the community who are sick of being penalised and spied on, I think Superintendent Thompson was talking tongue in cheek. Btw, I wonder if Jonksy can account for his movements

Cordless angle grinders are so common these days. They have been common for years, excellent bits of kit. I have been having an arguement with Torbay council for over a year now about an illegal parking ticket red. A few weeks ago I went to the local morrisons and some prat of a bailif clamped my car which is totally illegal. Out came the trusty dewalt and this is the results mate and brought a good laugh to all the other shoppers around.

No kidding, good for you Jonksy but didn't they have your reg? Yep correct Reg mate but wrong car. I have my own number mate which I put on my Nissan after removing it from the Mitsubishi. It clearly stated on the ticket that it was a black Shogun and not a silver Nissan outlaw FFS. And I was legally parked as I had a permit given to me by the council at a construction site we were working on.

Just for interest I thought I'd mention this...
A few years ago, in fact quite a few years ago now, it was where we used to live, anyhoo. A woman parked her car and went into a newsagent, a few minutes later she came out of the shop to see someone attaching a clamp to her car and demanding a £300 fee to remove it. She lived litterally 100 yards away, her husband (A work mate of mine) was a mobile fitter. She called him and he was there in minutes. He looked at the scene, slid open the side door of his van and pulled out a large cordless grinder.
The clamper warned him it was against the law to touch the clamp. My mate said I'll count to three if that clamp is still on the car I'm cutting it off. The clamper slightly panicked now, repeated that it was against the law to touch the clamp. My mate pulled the cord and the grinder burst into life, he bent down to start cutting when the clamper went into panic mode, OK OK don't cut it off, I'll take it off.
When the clamp was off and his wife was driving away he put the grinder back in van leaving the clamper very excitedly calling the police. My mate had no idea whether the clamper took his wifes reg number, but they never heard anything about it again.

Out of interest does anyone actually believe this story? Out of interest, why do you question it? Well let’s test this story for credibility. Let’s ignore the fact that the poster concerned regularly lies and simply treat the story on its merits. We know that supermarkets live in a highly competitive industry and therefore are careful to operate professionally. As such they only contract with professional parking management companies. Supermarket parking contracts are highly prized by parking companies. It is illegal for parking companies to clamp vehicles Parking companies manage supermarket car parks by cameras not by men visiting the car parks For Jonksy’s story to be true, a professional car park company keen to protect its lucrative contract with its customer focused customer would nonetheless have abandoned its cheap camera technology, sent a team of men to manually patrol the busy car park, hang around for at least two hours,, break the law by clamping the car and leave a note on the car admitting their illegal act (they can only get paid releasing the clamp) and then hang around even longer until the car Parker returned. That’s about as likely as an employer writing to a failed job applicant admitting they had broken the law in assessing his application. So I ask again , does anyone actually believe this story?
