'Woke' was born in the US, specifically in black communities who were/are fighting against racial injustice, particularly in regard to police shootings. It was picked up by the extreme left in this country who saw an opportunity to show everyone how virtuous they were by kneeling to respect a serial criminal who was shot by the police thousands of miles away in Minnesota, USA. Anyone who thinks this country is remotely anything like the US should, and with a real sense of urgency, wake the fuck up. Taking the knee against racism in this country was a reaction to the "knee on the neck" death of George Floyd under the knee of a police officer. What racism in this country? FFS if you honestly think this country is racist, then it's you who has the problem. |

Under Human Rights we can rip on ideas, because they are not protected under Human Rights laws. This means we can rip on Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Woke and all sorts. The problem is that the loony left cannot tolerate this and will insist on banning and silencing everything that challenges their weird and authoritarian ideas, and when that fails, they turn to trolling and violence to shut people down. I think they take inspiration from those Jihadis who kill people for challenging their ideas.

That's the sick tactic of the far right swivel eyed. They'll call you 'Woke' for caring about others and then demonise you by pretending that 'Woke' means jihadist law breakers on the M25.
