Why has some regions of Staffordshire seen a very high increase in Violent crime?
Almost a 50% increase.
South Staffordshire – 44% change in violent crime
South Staffordshire is on our list of areas in England and Wales with the most significant changes in violent crime, totalling a 44% increase. this English region has become a cropper to crime in the last couple of years.
East Staffordshire, Stafford – 42% change in violent crime
East Staffordshire and Stafford belong to the same English county, and it seems that their similarities do not end there, as these locations also share similar patterns when it comes to committing violence. These two areas have seen a 42% change in violent crime since 2021, the third-biggest increase of all regions across England and Wales

One of the reasons, if not 'the' reason crime has risen in some areas of Staffordshire, the same as it has in other richly diverse and multicultural areas of this once green and pleasant land, is obviously due to a huge influx of immigrants both legal and illegal. Today Stoke and Burton look more like downtown Mogadishu than historic old English towns. Yay diversity.

The fellow escaped prosecution, and criminologists applied the broken windows theory to narrow the outbreak of violent crime down to that one unpunished offence.

I've been watching these walk-about videos of nightlife in different parts of Blighty. I also saw one of Shrewsbury, which was even more English. It surprised me in fact and other people in the comments noticed it. The thing is there are some parts of England these third worlders just don't go. Shrewsbury looked really pleasant and relaxed. Granted Stoke is a bit of a shithole. I've always thought of Stoke as a friendly place though. I've been there once or twice.
