Media reports about 'violence and disorder' in a highly-diverse area of Sheffield where Roma and Yemenis went at it a few years ago.
Police have arrested two on suspicion of attempted murder after a car was driven into a crowd gathered in Burngreave, an inner-city area said to be home to people from the Caribbean, Pakistan, Yemen, Chile, Somalia, Eritrea, Iraq, Sudan, and several other countries including Romani people from Slovakia.
A 46 year-old man died as a result of the attack and several others were injured.
Police have not released the names of perpetrators or victims.

Just listened to a report about this and naturally, as is the trend in these days, any reference to ethnicity/names was completely avoided. Which of course immediately tells everyone the offenders were not IC1.

Yes indeed, I listened to something about this earlier. Since cyber/internet fraud seems to be so routine these days and we in the UK appear to be easy prey to such scams, my advice would be to never put your bank details on the internet. |
