A Labour MP who was suspended after using “abusive language with racial overtones” towards a journalist went on to charge taxpayers for equality training. Neil Coyle, who rejoined Sir Keir Starmer’s party after having the whip restored earlier this year, claimed £295 in expenses for the course, as first reported by The Independent.

The alleged racist comments are for him and the other guy to sort out ,nothing wrong with pistols at dawn or suchlike for such matters .
Thieving from the public purse is the much more serious offence , his constituents should force the recall on him .

Wow ... a massive 295 quid
You wouldnt find any Tory MP fiddling for these kinds of sums would you ? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The BBC reveals that a Tory councillor received major PPE contracts to supply face shields worth £120m in total. The Sunday Times goes on to report in November that the same man, then a former Tory councillor, was awarded a further £156m to provide gowns and masks and bought a £1.5m Cotswold mansion with the proceeds. ---------------------------------------------
A furious row has broken out between the disgraced Conservative peer Michelle Mone and the government over how much they knew about her links to a company that won lucrative deals during the pandemic.
Mone claimed the Cabinet Office, which Michael Gove led at the time, the government and the NHS “all knew about my involvement from the very beginning” before awarding her husband’s firm £203m in contracts.

Maybe you would like to start a thread on the subject fiddles rather than play whataboutery.

Racial overtones. 🤣 You do realise he was suspended by Labour, which is what the people of this country want. 😂

Chinese spies are everywhere ... a nurse at my hospital was from Hong Kong. I said something critical to her about Chinese Communism. A flash of annoyance came over her face. Later that day I got a call on my mobile ... an angry female berated me in Chinese. She was using an untraceable number.
That was a while back ... now there's another one working there. When I first met her I asked her if she was Japanese ... and she freaked, She managed to pull herself together ... but she was really put out by my question.

Yep, we agree that the Labour Party wasn't prepared to tolerate racism among its membership. Unlike the Tories, who made a man who referred to black people as pickaninnies their party leader and prime minister.

Pickaninny is a word for a small child, possibly derived from the Portuguese pequenino. It has been used as a racial slur for African American children and a pejorative term for Aboriginal children of the Americas, Australia, and New Zealand.I see, and this offends you so? I tend to think you thin skinned lefties wont be happy until you have burned every shred of history and rewritten it in your own words.

Is was a piece of satire about Tony Blair and The Queen acting out their colonial fantasies to escape domestic woes... hence he used colonial terms. It's hardly racism, its just a posh prick trying to be clever.

Glad you agree with Dodgydave's assessment that Boris Johnson is 'just a posh prick trying to be clever'.
