Maybe, but the Labour vote is falling and the Reform Party is just the (more) right wing of the Tory party, so I don't think that the brothers and sisters should be cracking open the non alcoholic vegan champagne just yet

It's probably fair to say the majority of this board are socially conservative economically "libertarians" - arguably pretty much exactly the same ground that Liz Truss (briefly) occupied.
Many of you will keep supporting the Tories and that is your right.
For those of you looking for something closer to your views, there seem a whole slew of small parties all occupying roughly the same space as far as I can tell - Reform, UKIP, SDP, Heritage, For Britain, probably a few more that don't immediately spring to mind.
It seems Reform is the most popular of those parties. It would be interesting to know why the preference for one over the other and honestly wouldn't it be better for your cause if they all kissed, made up and united under one alternative?

I think the Tories are losing a lot of support because they're no longer Conservatives - I'm not sure what they are now. And I'm not sure what Sunak is either. But we know he's not a vote winner as he got beaten by Truss in the members' vote. I certainly would never vote for him.
The Reform Party are the obvious alternative because their policies are Conservative. They also have a charismatic leader in Richard Tice. He really is an up and coming star. And he has his own 3 hour program on Talk TV on Sundays (which is brilliant) to showcase his party. I'll be voting for him anyway.

You are free to vote as you please of course. Could I ask why Reform and not one of the others? No axe to grind - just interested.

If Farage got his act together he'd clean up, never has both Conservative and Labour been so unelectable, the public are screaming out for fresh blood, if nothing else Farage would become the protest vote party, too many people from all walks of life are disillusioned with the main stream political parties, right now if Mickey Mouse registered as a political party he's got my vote.

That is the disadvantage of a two party-system.

Because Tice puts himself on the TV and answers any questions that he's asked and I like the answers. He's by far the most credible politician I can think of. And he talks sense. It would be good if he and Farage could get together but I'm not sure that Farage is quite what he was. None of the other parties have got a consistent policy on anything.

It has been said that Sunak would not be prime minister because of racism, if it was left to the plebians, which is fair comment. Sunak is by far the best, before Truss as well. The Tories are a mess, constantly shooting themselves in the foot. As with all fires, in the aftermath something better emerges.

Tice and Farage are together, Tice is leader of Reform UK whilst Nigel is it's Chairman. I suspect that come a warning of an impending election, Nigel will hit the trail for Reform UK, they need his abilities.

It doesn't surprise me that members are leaving — Sunak was never a popular choice among the older Tory members in the shires.
And their reasons for joining Reform? Probably the same as the reasons their earlier counterparts switched their support to Ukip...

Spoke to a couple of friends in the Conservative party and they are quietly pissed off with Sunak. Mind you, they have been quietly pissed off with all their leaders since Maggie retired so it is hard to make any predictions. But Rishi's idea that the best way to appeal to the grassroots is to embrace tree hugging may not be the cleverest idea he ever had.
