Police always gave descriptions of criminals, or people they were looking for. Remember Police 5 with Shaw Taylor? Every week photographs descriptions and E fits of people the police were looking for were shown on TV. Then we had multiculturalism forced upon us, and suddenly it was racist to mention the ethnicity of anyone even criminals, unless of course, they were IC1.

A women and a couple of lads have been shot so it is likely that the police police want time to find their relatives and let them know what has happen, rather than have them find out via the TV.
It is called basic decency.

Do you think the identity of the killer will be made public? It's like the pregnant woman in Wales who was stabbed multiple times yesterday, the police did not release a description of the attacker. Years ago the police would always issue a description of people they were looking for. It not only gave the public a heads up but increased the chances of someone being arrested. Why do you think the police no longer issue descriptions of people they are looking for? It's a real poser, innit...

No need these days when the description can usually be assumed with a high degree of accuracy.
