We have sent Cameron, Sunak, the King, Starmer and Blair with all their associated hangers on - to a conference attended by 400,000 people to lecture us all to use less to save the planet.
The stench of hypocrisy almost outweighs the stench of burnt jet fuel...

Next year it will be the food poverty summit.

Oh blimey the three less than wise wen will be joined by big ears god help us. I don't think the King should go, it is too political. No it isn't. Climate change is not a political matter. It affects us all and crosses the political divide.

The boy King Charles will have the same effect in persuading the public about ‘ climate change ‘ as the doom goblin and the idiots who lie in front of ambulances and cars carrying people going to work . Highlighting the hypocrisy . If Charlie wants to bang the eco worrier drum then he should be living the life that he wants others to live.

Others are available. It is the response to climate change which is definitely political and COP28 is all about that. Otherwise, why are almost all those attending, POLITICIANS?

Fury as David Cameron and Rishi Sunak take separate planes to COP28 climate summit.
You couldn’t make it up . It’s like a cheap novel. Not just them but the whole circus from the rank hypocrisy , the location,to the cult of the doom goblin . I thought the whole point of this latest save the planet jamboree was for the Saudi's to explain to the dimwits that oil is still king and will be for some time

What Montegriffo states is not opinion, it is fact Clearly, some posters would rather believe the 1% of scientists who do not believe climate change is man made, but most of us believe the 99% of scientists who say that it is. I mean, just how logical or scientific is it exactly to take on board the least likely probability, or to listen to such a tiny minority as opposed to the overwhelming majority.

Fake News Alert .... 1 its not scientists its climate scientists and 2 the way that the 99% figure was arrived at was much like the information fed into the computer models . It only asked the question to get the answer it wanted. Example . Scientist one thinks human activity , carbon emission and more so land use change has had some effect on climate change ,he doesn't however think climate change is doing much harm ,certainly not enough to destroy the economies of developed nations by going green . Scientist two thinks human activity has had a greater effect on climate change and we are all going to burn in hell if we don't get the pushbike out of the shed and eat lettuce on a cold winters night instead of beef stew . They both tick the box when asked is man made climate change for real . And of course scientist 3,4 and 5 don't even bother to return the survey This is basically how they came to the conclusion that 99% of scientists believe in MMGW . Im not what you would call a climate denier but I do see the propaganda and demagogy that is derailing the debate and forcing people into silence with such nonsense as the science is settled ,99% of scientist believe in MMGW ect . When in fact the vast majority are undecided

Do scientists agree on climate change?
Yes, the vast majority of actively publishing climate scientists – 97 percent – agree that humans are causing global warming and climate change. Most of the leading science organizations around the world have issued public statements expressing this, including international and U.S. science academies, the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and a whole host of reputable scientific bodies around the world. A list of these organizations is provided (Source: NASA) ------------------------------------------------
