Well it seems the ITV chief Lygo made a a rude one handed gesture about Farage to tv presenters that obviously rhymes with banker.. In other words, hardly the sort of thing worth sueing over. What a snowflake. (*Makes rude gesture*.)

What a snowflake. (*Makes rude gesture*.) Has he said he’s suing him? They havent hidden their dislike as with the tv awards where they showed their drunken boorish behaviour or in interviews on tv. Can you imagine what they’d have said were the situation reversed?

He said of Kevin Lygo (a man I personally dislike, but for other reasons to Mr F) "If you want to go to war with me, you really can".
Given that I'm not convinced he has an armed force at his disposal, I assume him to mean a civil course of action.
Over the years, I've seen TV folk refer to politicians, presenters, royalty, actors, staff, etc, using far more explicit and pointed slurs. Heck - I've even done it myself. Just about any Writer's Room at the BBC is like the bits of "The Thick Of It" deemed too sweary for broadcast. If Mr F is suddenly having a fit of the vapours over what the nasty man did, he's probably not the old media hand he seems to be.

I'm sure that Nigel's loving it.
What was it Oscar Wilde said? "There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about."
And Nigel knows it.

The channel's managing director Kevin Lygo, 66, was accompanied on stage at Tuesday night's ITV Palooza by a sign language interpreter. Speaking in front of a host of ITV stars including Susanna Reid, Davina McCall and Lorraine Kelly he joked: "Thank you to the signer I don't know any sign language, I just know the sign for Nigel Farage." Mr Lygo was then seen to make a rude one-handed gesture. Speaking later about the former Ukip leader and Brexit campaigner, he added: "Don't worry, he knows he has to come home from Australia in a dinghy." www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/itv-boss-mocks-nigel-farage-31530208One might expect something more witty from ITVs MD . Still it gives Farage more time in the spotlight so it’s a win for Nigel.

Nigel seems to have a few niggles about how he was treated . Its all good rollicking fun.

I don't think that it was simply a hand gesture, there was a row about ITV making a clip showing something Farage filmed and showing it out of context to imply Farage was a racist, this was going to be shown when he was in the jungle and unable to defend himself (or even know about it), Farage's lawyers went to ofcom who immediately stopped it from being shown.
To date Farage has had the better of Lord Cameron of Chipping Norton, (over Brexit), Mrs May (over Brexit) and Dame Alison Rose (over Coutts), so I'm sure he can see off some woke leftie telly person no one has heard of with ease.

Good grief Red, fresh from running away from questions I asked you yesterday, I thought for a moment you had actually thought of a subject for outrage on your own, however trivial that might be. Then I clicked on GB News website and found this nonsense is literally their lead story. YCMIU. GB News is a piss take as far as journalism is concerned.....it is the TV equivalent of an ignorant Sun columnist's rant after a few too many bevies. Preaching only to the converted and looking like obvious twats to everyone else. Twat TV might be a more accurate name for them to adopt. Broadcasting by ignorant twats for ignorant twats. Job done, lol

Well it didn't stop our nige from earning 1.5 million. More power to his elbow. If it was more power to his knob, you'd be indestructible.

His detractors are doing him a favour, whether they realise it or not.

Can't blame them for running with a story starring their own star signing - after all, that outfit needs all the help it can get. They're currently trying to get another £30m from their bankrollers (who will probably be asking questions about the less than £3m in advertising revenues before they write a cheque..).

Then we'd at least get some impartial reporting.
