Indeed - ITV walked straight into that one.. That presupposes that ITV were somehow disappointed, and hoping for some other result from his signing to that which they've had. They wanted publicity and a talking point. Job done. I dont think they paid £1.5 million for a collapse in viewership (and thus advertising revenues)

I dont think they paid £1.5 million.. Neither do I. (The figure talked about by industry folk is a LOT lower.)

Whatever it is they didn't get anything for that investment except to give Farage publicity - and there is no such thing as bad publicity. Oh to be a fly on the wall at ITV when they discovered it all going wrong..

LOL, you just cant stand the thought of ITV giving Farage, Mr Brexit, £1.5 million. Bothers me about as much as any fee for these sorts of show. But try and find a definitive statement about this supposed payment..

But try and find a definitive statement about this supposed payment.. Walter, you know perfectly well that Farage bashers, such as yourself, without any evidence are keen to rubbish the £1.5 million payment for no other reason than it's Farage. ITV have been trying to get Farage for years and he has always refused. Personally I don't think Farage would have done it for £500K. Actually... wasn't there something about Farage previously refusing to do it for £1 million? Can I be bothered to search for it? Dunno, we'll see.

Farage survives the vote again .😁 Excellent, ITV producers must be thrilled, lol. It’s brilliant. The French Europhile Fred couldn’t bring himself to admit he liked Farage even though Farage supported him throughout. He didn’t say anything bad about Farage though…and quite right too …he acknowledged that Farage was a ‘ doer’ like him.
