Sunak has hinted this lunchtime during PMQ's that he "may revisit some international agreements" For those that do not understand, there are many Conservative MPs and Conservative Party Members who would be appalled if Sunak, or any future Tory leader ever proposed leaving the ECHR. To put it in blunt terms, it would probably cause the biggest fracture, or split in the Tory Party in modern times, and would undoubtably lead to resignations from the party. BY making such a coment, Sunak shows that he is not capable of uniting the Tory Party, or keeping it together, and he seems insistent on continuing down his "Self Destruct" course. People such as Braverman, Rees Mogg, Mordant and others would readily abandon our membership of ECHR, but many more moderate, decent, and better educated Tories, including some Grandee's would likely abandon the party, and both Labour and the Lib Dems would walk right into the empty void. As with Labour's civil war 2015 - 2020, this current in-fighting in the Tory Party proves beyond any doubt that the best thing that could possibly happen to the British political system would be to abandon our voting system, and install a system of PR .... Thereby allowing a realignment of British politics. I agree wholeheartedly with your last paragraph. PR is now the only way forward for the UK.

I think an overhaul of how we do politics in this country is long overdue, essentially we're trying to navigate the 21st century with a 19th century system. As well as PR I'd also like to see a written constitution.
