Is a **** and I have no time for him the news that someone has used AI to have him speaking words not actually said though not unexpected is alarming as I thought it still a way off yet.
Where does that leave us to know what’s fake or real and potentially voting or acting on a falsehood.

I've been banging on for a while that we live in a post-truth society. It's a real concern. While the online protection act might protect them from us. Who is going to protect us from them?
Imagine the criminal capabilities that AI might introduce. We could be completely fooled by digitally altered/enhanced/faked images and videos, or even voices on the telephone.
Are we about to turn full circle and only trust what we see face to face or witness for ourselves?
I don't know the answers!

Are we about to turn full circle and only trust what we see face to face or witness for ourselves?... I pretty much already do. I realised a long time ago that pretty much every media article is an opinion piece. This is really just another extension of that.

I heard a commentator on one of the British news channels saying "that's what he was thinking though", why are these people allowed to encourage and tell lies.

Where does that leave us to know what’s fake or real and potentially voting or acting on a falsehood. We can expect a lot more of this in the future. Yay progress.
