North West Leeds is a shithole. I freelanced in the area in 1999 and saw my first police raid with armed officers openly carrying on the public highway in the first week. It became a regular occurrence.
I went back in 2012 and although i now stayed in a hotel in tbe north east of the sprawl forays into the city were ill advised.
I’ve no idea what the assailant or victim were into but im sure it wasn’t tiddlywinks.
