A handful of incidents out of 300,000+ peace protesters. Meanwhile over a hundred actual arrests out of a 1,000 counter protesters. More than 10%. For the peace protesters to have come close to that figure there would have had to be 30,000 arrests. It is patently obvious who the trouble makers were. Even if those 150 detained and searched had actually been arrested that's just 0.05% of the total marchers. It is indeed patently obvious who the trouble makers were. Out of 356 days to choose from, Hamas supporting lefties chose armistice day to invade London. In spite of the prime minister publicly calling it offensive, the minority appeasing Met Police refused to ban it. Yes indeed, it is patently obvious who the trouble makers are. This is the 4th Saturday in a row that there has been a march for peace in London. It is nothing more than a coincidence that this Saturday happened to be the 11th of November. The only people trying to disrupt the service at the Cenotaph were Tommy Robinson (not his real name) and his football hooligans.

No it is correcting lies and misunderstandings. The vast majority of those arrested today came from the small number of counter protesters. The point is nobody cares about a ~20 figure, which is why I went with the ~100 people you depend on who were more likely agitators than this imagined far-right. If it was 98 or a 120 I wouldn't bang on about for pages, because that would be trolling and disrupting the flow of the discussion. I've seen you post rounded figures, yet nobody chased you around the forum over it. That to me demonstrates hypocrisy and why I suspect trolling. I realise you are disappointed that the march went off mostly peacefully and the only people arrested for violence were Cruella's Pound Shop Proud Boys but making up numbers isn't going to save her.

You realise nothing and are dependent on insignificant jumbo whilst ignoring everything else. The very fact that you're now smearing me over a post that merely pointed out your hypocrisy only demonstrates the fact that I am right about you.

This is your bias talking and hasn't been proven. What hasn't been proven? Your claim of intent, which is your bias talking. Not everyone believes your story.

I think that the actions of a handful of pissed up yobs who kicked off after the main remembrance ceremony should not overshadow the rest of what was going on, Jews at synagogue in London were shouted at and green (Hamas colours) flares were thrown at them, disgusting placards rejoicing in Hamas actions, and funnily enough still no mention of the 200 young and old civvies being kept prisoner in tunnels. Unctuous posts about the "far right" and those of us on here objecting to the murder of 1400 Jews being labelled as racists doesn't obscure the fact Braverman was right. A GB News guest who was on the way to the studio was forced to get off the tube for her own safety before her stop because pro Hamas yobs were screaming at her 'are you a fucking jew'. Right now if you're a Jew London has a lot in common with 1930's Germany and if the left wing authorities don't get a grip of the situation it's going to get out of hand. That is truly frightening. I'm sure London Jews will be considering moving to somewhere safer, like Israel. A country at war is probably safer for them than London, with these rabid mobs around.

Monte, in the past with tales of feeding the troops you have given the impression that you're pro military, pro army. It was clearly a false impression. You are a typical lefty who has no sense of pride, honour or remembrance. You come across as a model Guardian reader who thinks remembrance is just another charity event.

For the sake of the other members on this forum and to maintain my own interest, I won't bother addressing the top-down trolling on this thread, and will instead ignore it and hope for the best.

We had people calling for the army to be deployed to protect the service at the Cenotaph earlier in the week. Yet I'm not hearing any condemnation of the thugs who actually forced their way past the barriers and attacked the police who were securing the Cenotaph and Whitehall.

High ranking members of the armed forces and the British Legion have supported the right of people to protest for peace on Armistice day. The only people who tried to disrupt the service were right wing hooligans. I thought you supported the police but I've yet to hear you condemn those thugs who attacked them this morning. Where's your outrage at them Red?
