Yawn I still got the peaceful march and I think that might well have touched an emotional nerve.

You obviously cannot dispute TSM's post and this is most likely down to anti-semitism. If you gave a shit about Arabs then you'd be railing against Hamas and ISIS, because it's they who bring misery to the Arab people. Infact, they're bad for everyone except the batshit crazy billionaire tyrants who fund them. Why do you place them above the good people in the UK? Why do you hate Braverman? Braverman? Probably because her old man's Jewish. It would make sense. She also has a history with Buddhism, which is big on respect. It makes perfect sense as to why she would show respect toward the country's history and monuments.

Summary of todays events
The march for Palestine which Cruella Braverman wanted to ban because of her fears of violence or unrest, and for the safety of the Cenotaph and those attending Armistice commemorations, passes of without any incidents of either violence or vandalism.
Meanwhile, the people whom Cruella Braverman believes are unfairly treated by the police, the far right and EDL, attempt to disrupt the Armistice commemoration, attempt to break through police lines in order to clash with the Palestinian march, and battle with police officers, resulting in (so far) over 100 arrests for violence.
Over 100 arrests out of a possible 1000 far right thugs who turned up with no other intention than to cause trouble.
According to Reuters, about one dozen arrests from the 300,000 Palestine marchers ( police estimate )
Viewing the Palestine marchers on various TV News channels, we could see people of many different backgrounds, including a lot of white British, there were a lot of Jewish people, there were lots of people wearing poppies, and there was footage of many Palestine marchers stopping to observe the 2 minute silence at 11 am.
Suella Braverman now looks like a complete idiot - the police commissioner was right - there was absolutely no attempt what so ever by any of the Palestine marchers to either go anywhere near Whiehall or the Cenotaph, let alone attempt to disrupt proceedings.
Well done to Sir Mark Rowley, well done to the Metropolitan Police, hats off to the veterans and armed forces, and a pat on the back for the organisers of todays march.
Now resign Suella Braverman ... RESIGN

150 Hamas supporters have been arrested this evening. We have tomorrow to get through yet. Sid, I am glad that you feel able to express such glee that these terrorist supporting foreigners had free reign of our streets, however, some of us who actually think about what they represent think that Braverman had it spot on.

The ‘ clash’ was a bit of pushing from the pissed up ones . I think we can conclude that the far right threat to the UK only exists between the ears of lefties .

I agree. I think it's the police who lost. Braverman was right and should reassert that fact. The police have been failing to take any action over the calls for the genocide of Jews in Israel and violence from the Hamas mobs. They only took action when a few apparent planted agitators or drunks turned up to stumble around.

blackiswhite To suggest the figures are 'thrown out' rather than calculated as carefully as possible in the circumstances, does a disservice to the admirable efforts of the Gaza Health Ministry, and to do so on the very day that respected sections of the Western media have drawn attention to the credibility of the Gaza Health Ministry's figures makes your claim all the more surprising. The fact that the GHM calculated casualty figures more often than not roughly align with the numbers the Israelis compile, then we'll need to be given a reason why it is unacceptable to use figures from either source. In the meantime it would appear that the White House now has the good grace not to throw mud at the figures the GHM release, and with that in mind I'd suggest those very same figures should remain perfectly acceptable to be reproduced on a UK Politics discussion forum.

RESIGN I think something that has come out of it, if you give others respect they will return it, if you shoot people peacefully demonstrating indiscriminately, it tends to get returned. So I thank all those who have shown their respect for those hard fought freedoms against all the odds at times.

Around 150 pro-Palestinian protesters have been detained by police after breaking away from a march that took place through London. link

Here are some peaceful peace protesters. If showing that isn't a hate crime I don't know what is. View AttachmentIt seems that the Hamas supporters are fine with Hamas intentionally massacring Israeli citizens to provoke a reaction, but will hypocritically portray the ~100 people they claim was trying to cause trouble as the biggest problem in the world. Meanwhile the anti-Semitism from the Hamas mobs goes ignored.
