And to suggest that annoying someone is the same as trolling someone is ridiculous. Meanwhile interesting that no one has pointed out anything Khan should practically be doing in respect of the Jewish community in London while tensions are high apart from droning on about ULEZ.

Also they have an eye on increasing their own popularity, with an election round the corner Khan will be drumming up support among the New British that form the population of London these days, Lineker will be holding fire until he can launch emotive bleats about Israel after the invasion starts.

When terrible things happen in the world celebrities and civic leaders are well known for raising their heads above the parapet. Their current silence and inability to stand by a London Community speaks volumes. I’ll play along Sandy. What should the London mayor be doing that he is not already? Ensuring the hate laws that he supports and the anti terrorism laws that he also supports are used to the full. Misgender someone and the London plod will be on your doorstep tout de suite. Show support for Hamas (proscribed in the UK) and he is adamant that it should be stopped and people should not do it. He has the laws, he supports the laws, he should ensure they are used as he does for any RW 'terror' group. |

If so — as I noticed before with another poster somewhere who claimed such a background — some of them got so used to being ordered what to do and think (even to the point of which leg to start walking with), they don’t trust themselves enough to form their own opinions. On Sadiq Kahn and protection of the Jewish community, I don’t see he’s less proactive with that than any other area he’s responsible for. Aren’t Met offices supposedly responsible for such protection? If so, what’s the Mayor supposed to do…? |
