‘Were you wafted here from paradise ? Nah, 34th level of hell, mate’ www.gbnews.com/news/luton-airport-fire-flights-suspended-car-park-blazeIf you are currently on holiday abroad, flew out of Luton Airport and parked on the 3rd floor of its car park, you have a 4 in 5 chance you’re walking home. Twenty years ago i’d have said a BMW 5 series was at ground zero but i bet today the culprit is plugged in. Or maybe should have been. All sorts of shit happens when the 12V battery goes dead.

The fact that they seem unable to put it out would seem to indicate yet another EV fire.

Sorry what is the evidence, beyond political prejudice, that this fire started with an electric car?
Once started given the close proximity of parked cars, not surprising hat it seemingly spread so rapidly

Thats not really an answer.
Do you have any evidence that the fire started in an electrical vehicle or does that just fit in with your political prejudices?

Apparently the car that started the fire is a Range Rover, and from the pics in this link it's a modern Range Rover, rather than a proper (L322) Range Rover, which suggests it's probably an EV. No doubt we will know in due course.

We know already. It was diesel.
The sound of crushing disappointing is almost as deafening as when a potential terrorist incident doesn't turn out to be perpetrated by a gay muslim asylum seeker .....

The sound of crushing disappointing is almost as deafening as when a potential terrorist incident doesn't turn out to be perpetrated by a gay muslim asylum seeker ..... Not at all. I've just listened to a report in which it was stated that the car is 'believed' to be a diesel. But as far as I'm aware it has not, as yet anyway, been confirmed. Unless you have information to the contrary?..

Even if the first vehicle to catch fire was diesel, once the fire spreads to any nearby EV it still becomes near impossible to put out. The simple presence of EVs is a hazard.

A GB News reporter has just said the police told him they 'believe' the car that burst into flames was a diesel, however a fire brigade spokesman refused to comment.
