Interesting ... So you believe that allowing a Populist right winger into the Tory Party will be of great benefit to the Conservatives. ?
Even though EVERY poll conducted over the last two years consistenly shows that a majority of Britons would now vote REMAIN / REJOIN.
The latest one been Deltapoll published on 2nd October shows an 11 point lead for Remain / Rejoin, that is far more than the margin by which Leave won the actual referendum 7 years ago.

If it would be a bad move for the Conservatives, there would be no need to show concern.
I think the one thing that could sink Labour's chances would be the Conservatives radically changing direction and behaving like Conservatives. I don't hold out much hope this can be achieved though. We will see
Brexit, now done, is neither here nor there.

Jonksy - Could you please take some more care that your thread titles do not contain anything that could be construed as an insult? This is an edge case. Yes of course we must protect the sensitive snowflakes. Also, most sites insist that opening threads include the opinion of the poster and are not just quotes from an article as many of yours are. This OP is just a lazy bit of trolling.

Us PATRIOTIC BREXITEERS love our Nige. Everything he said is turned out true. He said if we didn't leave the wretched EUSSR then the boats would keep coming. He said if we didn't leave the wretched EUSSR then are NHS would crumble. He said if we didn't leave the wretched EUSSR are economy would fall. He said if we didn't leave the wretched EU are pound would be worthless. He said if we didn't leave the wretched EU then Turkey would join. He said if we didn't leave the wretched EUSSR then we would has to have an EUSSR army. He said if we didn't leave the wretched EUSSR they would force us to use the euro just like they forced everyone else. We thank the lord for Nige every single day. God bless BRITAIN and god bless BREXIT.
Nigel Farage is the surprise toast of the Tory conference afterparties: Brexit champion dances with Priti Patel as Conservatives line up to schmooze him and demand he is allowed to rejoin the party amid talk of a political comeback.
Nigel Farage fuelled ongoing rumours of a political comeback as he sang and danced with former home secretary Priti Patel at a boozy Tory Conference bash.
The grinning former minister and the ex-Brexit Party leader duetted on Frank Sinatra's I Love You Baby, hours after he had given visible and vocal support to Liz Truss's attack on Rishi Sunak's leadership.
Farage, who is now a commentator for GB News, has been a visible presence at the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester, which he is attending on a media pass.
It is his first attendance for a decade and he has refused to rule out a return to frontline politics. And it has prompted calls from some Tory MPs for him to rejoin the party 30 years after he quit over support for the Maastricht Treaty.
Litchfield's Michael Fabricant told GB News: 'I think we should get on our hands and knees and beg him [to rejoin], we should award him with a knighthood that he should have had years ago.'
Tim Montgomerie, a former speechwriter for William Hague who is now a columnist, tweeted: 'I into Conference earlier with Nigel Farage. He got quite the reception. I'm convinced party members would choose him as leader if they could.'
I've been saying this for a while.
I'd love to see Farage as leader. It would mean another Tory landslide.

I doubt it. 42% of Tory voters voted remain. It would just split the Tory party further. I hope you get your wish though.

And what does your side do montey apart from trolling? My side is Britain. I don't support either of the two main parties. Lib Dem policies are closest to my ideals amongst the main parties but I've never given them my vote either. In fact, I've only ever bothered to vote once and that was for the Greens. Where I live it doesn't matter who you vote for the Tories always win.

They will if you select Farage as your next leader. Mind you, you'll have to find him a very safe Tory seat to have any chance of getting him elected as an MP. Even then his name on the ballot will lose you a lot of votes. Again, I wish you all the luck in the world that you will get your way. Not only would he guarantee that the Tories are defeated but it would cause a big shake up and ousting of the populists currently ruining the party. The Tories need a moderate like Major not a pound shop Trump like Farage.
