They won't worry about them after a visit to bottle alley, it will seem like a walk in the park, one of them was lying a doorway the other day, I said you alright there Guv, he said doing my best, which made me smile so I said no different from the rest of us then, that's all we can do, he burst out laughing. you have a bottle alley sheepy? We used to have the wine alley in govan , my old man lived there for a while. Of course that was back in the bad old days under the labour party , before we kicked labour out , bulldozed the wine alley and turned govan into a riviera full of wine bars and high society flats overlooking the river .
Does hastings have a labour council? yep just checked. Typcial.
Another time one was on St Leonards platform giving the commuters a hard time he was heading my way when I said, before you say a fecking word, I am about to hop the train because I don't have the fare so unless you can lend it me after taking this lot for a few quid, you can feck off because I ain't in the mood, we were best mates after that.

Its like the chicken and egg scenario , what came first poverty , or the labour party? As a govan bhoy , ive been particularly keen to research govans prestigous history , and to try and find the answer to the great conundrum of wether labour or poverty came first.
Imagine my surprise , to find not only was govan exceedingly rich historically , but it was also the capital of one of the local celtic kingdoms for many years. Down through the centuries , govan retained its importance and wealth , and the great fame of the govan riviera spread beyond the borders of scotland , until something happened in the 1930`s , and the place went into terminal decline until it hit rock bottom in the 70s and 80s , only to start recovering in recent years.
That "something" was the election of glasgows first labour council. So i think i have conclusively proved labour comes first , then poverty follows in their wake. It seems hastings is following in govans foosteps.

Labour council, since when did they know shit anyway. well i know hastings is famed for englands greatest defeat , when your baguette munching snail eating ancestors first took charge of the town back in the day when borkie were a lad , but i think the aftermath of 1066 was nothing to the locals compared to living under a labour council.
Can i make a donation to the local food bank or something sheepwash?

No need because apparently. with all the neo Liberals running away from London, we are now being gentrified, so I can see it now, soon we will be spoon fed caviar and champagne. Because they made such a good job of turning London around.

You need to get out to the back fence and start gently telling them of the future of populism , and how labour have brought the town to its knees.

I do, but they are voting greens now, I don't see their bicycles yet, but then they would only go breaking their necks in the potholes.

Red is blowing smoke as is usually the case on the EU. He's trying to rope the French in on his mad campaign against the 'unelected dictatorship', even to the extent of imagining polls going back years when there is no such thing. I don't think Red has even set foot anywhere on the continent since the BAOR went home in the 1970s. Back in the day when he was single-handedly defending the Fulda Gap against marauding Russkies with only effete Dutchmen in hairnets for backup. LOL very good, however I didn't leave Germany until well into the 1990's. BAOR was disbanded in 1994 btw.

Thomas, have you told Borchester how you feel about him? This is the third or fourth time you've gratuitously mentioned him in this thread.
