I don't sleep for weeks after receiving a like from you, Toejam. I especially like that gif with the lady spitting out her coffee laughing. You used it quite a lot to compliment my posts. It sort of went to my head. Now, I've become addicted. I need a like from you just to get through the day. im flattered that you think so highly of me dyno , and hang on my every word and live for my likes . But there was a surge in support for indy after Brexit, right? It can be expected that support for indy will fall away with every mitigation of Brexit, right? So, do you hope to rejoin the EU or the single market? eh ? There was a small increase in support for scot indy , before it fell back slightly according to john curtice. While brexit has had a mnor impact on levels of support for scot indy , i keep telling you it isnt the impact and be all or end all you hope.
the question though you arent addressing is are enough english desperate enough to rejoin the eu to keep northern ireland and scotland?
the answer appears to be no.
Because overall, the voters of England – that’s Remainers and Leavers combined – would drop Scotland like a hot potato if it were somehow to be necessary in order to secure Brexit. (And remember, very nearly half of them don’t even WANT Brexit. How much must those guys hate us?) Just a third of English voters don’t think it’d be worth ditching Scotland to get out of the EU.

bet youve been out buying a new eu flag while you ditched the english one in readiness to change sides you old turncoat you.  Now toomy is posting the words in his head. The closer the UK gets to the EU the lesser the Brexit argument for FREEDOM! . That may be as hard to swallow as cold haggis but you have to accept it. Chin up and hope for the best but Sir Kier might just have shafted you . so the big plan to save your uk is to cut your legs off an become european ben e? i like it.
not sure the england fans are going to take the ribbing at international matches mate as we all sing no surrender to the EU. Im flattered though you so desperately want to keep scotland you are prepared to give up your britishness in the process my fellow european.

You said yourself that the Scottish middle-class is married to the EU and that, post-Brexit, there had been a sea-change in their support for independence. Are you saying that the highest recorded levels of support for Indy in recent years haven't occurred post-Brexit? |
