Why should they waive EU flags ? The UK isn’t part of the EU . Why should they sing Rule Britannia? The UK doesn't rule the waves.

Wasn't there EU flags with hammer and sickle once upon a time, might be one way to start a row.

I think the genuine cause for concern here is that the campaign for "Remain" is still active - as is shown by the fact that free EU flags are being handed out by various organisations. I'd like to know who's funding this and I'd bet that it's the EU itself.
This is pretty sinister in that it's interference in our sovereignty and an attempt to destabilise our political system.

I think as the election gets closer we can expect more of this. Pro EU types will become more vocal and high profile remainers, people like Heseltine, Miller etc, will put increasing pressure on Starmer over his stance on the EU. I don't think we will overtly re-join the EU, but I do think that behind closed doors deals will quietly be done that brings us more and more under the influence of the EU. It's how the EU and sympathetic politicians do business.

Is it just the EU flag which is causing outrage? I noticed plenty of other foreign flags on display, including European countries like Holland and Germany. Are they not a problem as well?
Or is it just the EU?

Or is it just the EU? The EU is not a country and the EU flag is not the flag of any country. People handing out hundreds of EU flags at the entrances of the Royal Albert Hall during the BBC Proms, was clearly politically motivated and the government must step in.
