At a guess it didn't cause the outrage it was meant to cause, oh well another failure for the EU keeping themselves at the top of the agenda. Only one bitter person living in Switzerland thinks that Brexit means completely ignoring the EU . Everyone else knows it’s not .

Did anyone wave a rainbow flag during Land of Hope and Glory Holes? Or the Bonus hole , the LGBGTV8 new name for vagina ( for the uninformed). So does that mean those who voted remain and worship the eu flag be forever known as the R soles

I thought it hilarious - a load of people singing 'Rule Britannia' (a song that represents freedom, sovereignty and self-determination) whilst waving the flag of an organisation that wants to take over Britannia and do away with those rights.. ..how detached from reality do you have to be.. Hopefully not as far as you are. Since you keep nagging to hook into EU projects and are happy that part of the UK is still in the EU, reality is crawling up your back. What are you going on about now?

BBC turn proms into political event.
What are the BBC going to do to stop it from being a political event next year? It’ll be even worse next year because on the one hand EU supporters will think what a wonderful prank they’ve pulled off, we will do it again, and those on the Leave side of the argument will want to see how they can challenge it.
There is the possibility of a national music event, a historical event, being turned into a free-for-all between pro and anti-EU supporters. That’s not what the Last Night of the Proms is about - link
This could digress down many rabbit holes, not least of all 'defund the BBC'. However, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport should get a grip of the left wing pro EU BBC who organise the event and allowed people to hand out hundreds of EU flags to people entering the Royal Albert Hall.
The government should not allow the BBC to turn the proms into a political event.

Let BBC do what they like - if the BBC wants to destroy one of their few remaining decent programs then I'm fine with that. It will hasten the end of the BBC and their ridiculous tax.

Why on earth did you start a thread about an historic English event held in London, in the EU section? Are you really this brainwashed?

Flags aside, are there any other ways in which the Proms are being used for political purposes that should not be allowed, in your view? How about foreign lesbians lecturing the audience live and at home about diversity and gender matters from their pulpit on stage? How about all-black orchestras? Or black soloists resurrecting little-known and little-regarded pieces by obscure black composers? All allowable, again in your view?

No of course not, the proms are being politicised because it's run by the left wing pro EU BBC. It's a disgrace. As I said the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport should step in. The proms is an historic music event, not a political rally.

What are the BBC going to do to stop it from being a political event next year? . . Not play all those jingoistic pieces? Any snowflake who is so fragile they can't stand the sight of an EU flag really needs remedial therapy

Any snowflake who is so fragile they can't stand the sight of an EU flag really needs remedial therapy Don't be so bloody stupid. This has nothing to do with "can't stand the sight of an EU flag" It's not a political event you pillock it's a traditional English music event in London and the BBC are openly politicising it. The BBC allowed people to stand at entrances and hand out hundreds of EU flags at an historic English event held at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Why do you suppose the left wing pro EU BBC allowed this? The government have to step in, allowing the BBC to politicise the proms is out of order.

Why should they waive EU flags ? The UK isn’t part of the EU .
