Even people who despise Angela Rayner want to join her gang
"Some people might have thought he might tire of her pecking away on his shoulder and level her down.
But the thing about Angela Rayner is that everybody sort of loves her, even those who sort of hate her".
** This must be the most out-of-touch article I've read, Angela Rayner is disliked by many in her own party, and very much disliked in the general public, she represents everything that is bad in politics, and only idiots would want to be in her 'gang'.

FFS I just scrolled down the article, WTF this is someone who could be the next Prime Minister in a dress wearing a pair of bovver boots ... the only gang who'd want to join her are Angela's Hells Angels.

That gave me a smile, 8th from the pile of not very popular to begin with, isn't exactly something to be proud of.

LOL ... at least 6 before her are absolutely despised, both within the Labour party and the General Public, I think you've just confirmed how unpopular Rayner really is.

Well there is no accounting for NON taste is there. Imagine her on the worldstage where she thinks a growler will achieve everything she asks for.

First there are those who despise devious meally mouthed politicians. Then there are those who despise those who speak their minds, put it all out there and can robustly defend their position.
Which do you prefer?

I suspect that survey is a load of old bollocks. If you look at the 'fame' part (the % of people who have heard of a politician) - then obviously Tony Blair tops the list for Labour. But apparently nobody has ever heard of Margaret Thatcher...

Which do you prefer? We prefer female and male politicians who doesn't use foul language, while calling the opposition 'Tory scum', it's not what we want or expect from politicians, especially ones who could potentially be the next Prime Minister, she's utterly common as muck, she is someone who the UK does not want representing them on the world stage. ... or for that matter any stage.

There's the key words 'mic was off', I never said we don't expect politicians not to swear, Rayner was making a 'public speech' and knew her mic was on, big difference.

I prefer upfront politicians who tell it like it is. I prefer those who swear to those who lie.
