But i did engage your position - i noted that: "Twitter's recently minted 'monopoly status' has no bearing at all on the implications of it carrying illegal content. It only really has applicability to the potential for political censorship"I highlighted a severe disconnect between your claimed rationale for regulation of Twitter and what it is you would like to see regulated. You still haven't addressed this. In fact, it looks very much to me like you are deliberately avoiding it. |

I never denied that some of the tweets might be old, however your false allegation was the first one was 2009 so I rightly denied that and correctly pointed out that alt right Tucker Carlson (the first link I gave) has been posting tweets that lefties don't like for 13 years, most recently today So you lied about me claiming there were no right wing tweets . Posted tweets out if context of the post they addressed and failed to address the points made anyway. Posted at least one tweet more than a year old ……and somehow it’s my fault . Thats about right . What you might do in future is politely ask me to qualify my post ( which was not addressed to you ) and address the actual points made . Its much better than jumping in with both size twos , lie , misrepresent then try then try to save face by projection . Remember, you are not at home now , old boy. |

Look it was a genuine attempt to try and look at exemplar cases we could debate on their merits instead of your habitual ad homs. There is no agreed standard of 'merit' between us and therefore there can be no basis for a debate on merit. I can only surmise that the reason this is not at all obvious to you and is to me, is likely linked to reason feel justified in silencing and punishing people for disagreeing with you, and i don't. The issue i actually highlighted in your post was a glaring inconsistency between your rationale and what you wanted to do with it. You still haven't addressed this btw. |
