It must be the nearest thing to a trade union that a body representing its farmer members could be. Except it's not affiliated to Labour, isn't affiliated to the TUC, doesn't do strikes, doesn't do picketing and isn't registered as a trade union as all trade unions are required to be. You'd think by now you'd know that doesn't walk like a duck, doesn't look like a duck and doesn't quack like a duck is a good test that something isn't a duck. |

It is inane and dishonest if you to change the goalpost ( that you thought you scored ) from being a little pedant about whether the RFU was in fact a trade union into what was the actual point that the NFU had the faults of a trade union .
