Suppressing wages and arguing for modern slavery is the antithesis of what the Tolpuddle Martyrs stood for.
And lets not forget, men used to toil underground in dangerous conditions in which some of them were crushed to death in mining accidents.
If the pay is worth it men will do it.

Lucky escape... He's right that the EU needs reform though. The power of the Commission needs to be broken.

You think employees want LESS production? That puts their jobs in jeopardy. MORE production is a bargaining chip to higher wages. I don’t think , I know. Let me turn your argument around and ask you the last time UK unions suggested that their members produced more in the pursuit of less members being employed ? You must have been living under a rock when the Fleet Street unions fought to the death ( literally ) it stop a Rupert murdoch making production of the Sun newspaper more efficient, the dockers fought containerisation ( don’t pretend that you are too young ) and more recently the rail unions striking against a more efficient rail service on the grounds of safety . You post utter utter shit that has no relationship with the real world . I’m sorry..you just do.

In fact the rail unions have spent years fighting it. Your shit indeed.

Lucky escape... I don't think there was much luck involved, a group of very dedicated people perhaps protecting the rights of British people. Which was recognised by the British people.

That means either investment in high tech and more job losses or more employees.” Thrn you mirror my post that refutes it . Lol Unions have no input or involvement in higher production . You post riddles and pretend that they are wisdom .

Why are you posting a photo of the Parliament and talking about the Commission? An EU with 37 members would have 37 commissioners. Each would head a team of civil servants working on an area assigned to it. Just like the cabinet. Why is this a problem?

Or dont you think that affects production? You really dont think past your ears, do you? And because you are so easy to catch out, you get all defensive and abusive. Stop wasting my time.

Every post from you supports my position but you are too dim to realise it . You “Unions want more PRODUCTION which allows higher wages. That means either investment in high tech and more job losses or more employees.” then .. YOU ….”Of course unions have control over production. If you have ever heard of go slows or no overtime/work to rule. Or dont you think that affects production?” Lol. You claim that unions want more production then argue that their control over production is to reduce it . Riddles and waffle followed by riddles and waffle .

Stop confusing posts to try to wriggle out of your garbage. And stop wasting my time. You are wasting your own time posting by contradicting your own waffle . “Unions want more production and can affect production by reducing it “ just about sums up your grasp of reality .

Suppressing wages and arguing for modern slavery . . And just who do you suppose has argued for modern slavery? Maybe you should look at the employee protections we had in the EU but your leave government wants to scrap.
