5 Minutes? Its been 7 years. Anyway your argument is that it was grossly unfair to keep the UK in the EU for so long against the will of the people. Now you are saying it is fair to keep us out of the EU for 40 years against the will of the people. Shame on you. Stop lying to yourself then you wouldn't have to lie to everyone else. Lying about what?

No shame on me. You've had your own way for long enough and it didn't work. You don't like it, tough. My way? I didn't get a vote on joining the EU either, nor any say in how it developed. Stop trying to make it partisan and listen to what the public say they want. Yes, your way. You want in the EU. We've tried that. We voted for something different.

We've tried that. We voted for something different. But it wasn't my way was it. I had no say in it. We voted for something different 7 years ago and now we want to vote for something different again. Perhaps we should have general elections every 40 years? Of course, only once you get the result you want.

LOL - some outfit has done a poll. That is not the voice of the people.... Come back when you have some real meat on the bones.. 62%. Consistent polls for 6 years saying the same thing. 80 plus polls saying the same thing. Put your money where your mouth is, call for a referendum. No my problem - you want a referendum then start doing some hard work..

Just vote LIB DEM at the next election and we'll be back in quicker than you can say "four freedoms".

It's more likely the openly lying Labour party will do it without democracy if people are dumb enough to elect them.

In 2019, 52% voted for pro-EU parties, while only 43% voted for pro-Brexit parties. The FPTP system has created the illusion of continued mass support for Brexit, which the polls dispel on an almost weekly basis. Nobody's voting for pro-EU parties!!! Get a grip!! www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/election-result-boris-johnson-pro-brexit-referendum-voters-conservatives-a9245866.htmlElection result: 52% of votes go to pro-referendum parties despite decisive victory for the Tories
More than half of voters backed pro-referendum parties at the polls despite Boris Johnson’s decisive general election victory.

It was FPTP that took us into the EU in the first place - it's a bit late to start whinging about how unfair it is..

It looks like you're beginning to understand that Brexit isn't the will of the people anymore. You appear to have moved from 'Brexit is democracy' to 'Brexit isn't democracy, but we had to live with the will of the people being ignored for more than 20 years, so now it's your turn'. That's fine. Let's see how it works out for you.

FFS, if you cant do anything better but claim that under a different system a majority would vote to rejoin the EU you should give up now sunshine..

A majority voted for pro-referendum parties in 2019 and a majority wishes to rejoin now.
