When the shit hits the fan coppers are expected to stand up to the plate . That’s why I’m not inclined to take the side of a pissed teenager calling a copper a ‘ lesbian nana “ after being taken home ( Autistic or not ). Pillock. You say that but who’d do their job now? I could have cause to criticise cops more than some and do when they’re wrong but like all humanity they’re not all saints, can get things wrong but put up with crap day in day out and you might lose your rag. Watch this,as it goes not as bad as some but not just the odd individual but more than a few some make a living out of this winding up the cops day in day out. Yes public photography is allowed but a point has been made and now is being misused imo, like I say this is one of hundreds and some are much more purposely winding up. If you have the inclination look around then tell me you wouldn’t get wound up.

We don’t know fully the circumstances of this tragic incident. It seems the most likely explanation is that man A was in severe emotional distress and at least actively considering taking his own life. The policeman appears to have sought to assist and save the life of Man A knowingly putting himself in danger in that attempt. IF that is what happened, then the policeman absolutely deserves to be described as a hero - a sometimes over used word but absolutely applicable in those circumstances. Man A is not in any way complicit in the policeman’s death and deserves nothing but the best support to help him hopefully rebuild his life. You made that up. So we'll wait till we know more.

Which of course it’s why I said we don’t know the circumstances and that the scenario I outlined seems the most likely explanation.
You seemed to think you knew enough about the incident to slag off both the policeman and the distressed man. Pretty shameful in the circumstances in my view.

I know the regulations which are meant to keep officers alive and I slagged no one off. You just dislike my opposing view because it does not ooze faux sympathy.

He failed to follow the safety rules for all incidents on the railways and paid the price for his misadventure. . .

That’s not slagging off but voicing an opinion based on experience.

Calling you a pompous dick and a failed mod is slagging you off . Saying that you are a failed mod but your failure was due to over estimating yourself and not intentional is not . For example .

The Oxford English Dictionary says you haven't got a scooby on this But frankly I feel a little soiled just engaging here with someone who'd defend some git trying to heap even more misery on this officer's family by pissing on his actions.

No it doesn’t . There are pads for the older gentleman that feels a little soiled . I hope I never need them .

This thread is about the tragic death of a brave man who made a decision did not hesitate and went to the aid of a man who was in serious danger, and you come out with this infantile crap, you should be ashamed of yourself
