A European diploma is automatically recognised under a European Directive which states that people with a professional qualification such as a general dentist from one EU member state can settle in another EU member state. This means Romanian diplomas bought by African 'dentists' are automatically approved and the "EU Recognition Commission" cannot refuse their application, even if there is proof of a lack of knowledge and the person in question doesn't speak a word of English. The unelected presidents and commissars havent really thought this one through have they lol. www.brusselstimes.com/656710/fake-dentists-working-in-belgium-with-degree-bought-in-romania

The more serious problem exposed by this automated acceptance is the deaths of patients killed by real doctors unaccustomed to our particular treatment regimens
I can’t recall the details it was a few years ago and it caused an almighty ruckus but basically a genuine and reputable doctor certified and licensed to work in the German health system arrived in the IK and worked as a locum, but was unfamiliar with a particular drug used in the then i think still British NHS Blair had not yet destroyed its true universality across the whole of the UK with his devolved bollox, and as a result of an error a patient died of an overdose.

Ahh yes, I seem to remember something... is this it? A coroner today demanded a review of EU agreements over the recognition of doctors when he ruled that the death of a 70-year-old patient who was administered a tenfold overdose by an "incompetent" German GP [Daniel Ubani, a Nigerian German] was unlawful killing - link

Gross Negligence Manslaughter. The guy hadn’t used the stuff before and the obvious criticism was that he should have sought advice and assistance before performing the procedure. All well and good but my personal experience from years long past in a white lab coat in the back corridors of the hospital is that the on duty consultant at shit o clock HASN’T got anyone else of their skill set to ask. I’m very much of the opinion that the automatic acceptance of another country’s way of doing things by a europhile paper pusher keen to pretend the EU is something it isn’t is the real cause of death here and frankly they ought to have done the pen pushers that allowed it not for manslaughter but murder.

This one I can believe. Upper incisors denture broke off a few months ago after some decades of sterling service. My previous dentist having retired, a gentleman with (I think) a Russian accent stuck it back in. It broke off again the next day. I went back and reported that I'd been eating bread when it happened, and he explained that bread was one of the worst foods for breaking dentures. A senior colleague was with him and giving instructions in a ? Slavic language. Hard to have onfidence in the cirumstances.

Fake dentists and doctors have worked all over the world since such jobs were invented. Fraud is a huge problem everywhere and is easier to find than a perfect world.

Fake dentists and doctors have worked all over the world since such jobs were invented. Fraud is a huge problem everywhere and is easier to find than a perfect world. Indeed, however the "EU Recognition Commission" cannot refuse an application from someone who claims to be a doctor or dentist if he has purchased a Romanian diploma, and this is the best bit... even if there's proof of a lack of knowledge. This is the result of European wide diktats issued from behind closed doors in Brussels. And regardless of the obvious incompetency, it will continue because like the Nazis the EU have ensured they cannot be voted out.
