They all close ranks, the police know it would be near on impossible to walk in to a hospital without hard evidence and accuse any member of staff of wrong doing, their hands are tied, as in this case even those medical profession at the top of their field were duped by this seemingly shy, mild mannered, monster. Their concerns were deliberately sidelined by non-medically trained management. There should be no such authority in a hospital. We have congenital idiots, whose only training is hugging sessions and learning their DEI scripts, running technical facilities and ordering domain experts around.

Sadly, it occurs across both public and private sectors.

With respect, those medical professionals were not duped. Their concerns were deliberately sidelined by non-medically trained management. Possibly criminally so. Sorry, when I said medical professionals I meant 'pathologists', they never picked up those babies were murdered, lots of those babies had post-mortems, but nothing flagged up as 'murder', apparently it's very hard to detected the deaths of anyone who has purposely being injected with air.

As per usual the Daily Mail readers cannot understand simplistic If you are over-worked, hard pressed, under staffed, then quite often things get overlooked, things are sometimes not noticed, or people do not have the time to "double check" or make sure, or look into something. Its a simple enough conclusion to arrive at, its called logic, I am not saying that this was the cause of this set of tragedies because I dont knowm, no one knows, but I am pointing out that it will not have helped matters. But nothing was overlooked - concerns were raised through the official channels (and then dismissed) 2 years before she was arrested. Your logic seems to be on holiday..

The lefty in you is coming racing to the surface on this thread, another opportunist post to make it political, neither the Daily Mail or this government did not murder these babies, it was the abomination Lucifer Letby, you are showing yourself up by turning into a political football, and not about a baby murdering freak.

It can only be compared to a fictitious horror movie, when you watch it you go ....... nah that's way far fetched, it 'could' never happen in 'real life'.

Another inquiry, so they learned nothing from the Beverley Allitt inquiry, there was supposed to be measures put in place back then to make alarm bells ring when there was a pattern emerging.
I've looked at what Allitt looks like today, and she's got the same vacant empty void look that Letby has.
Like I’ve already said I’m not sure of her guilt or innocence, what I do know that there have been three enquiry’s recently around maternity units in Nottingham,Morecambe bay and lastly Shrewsbury where they concluded over two decades hundreds of babies died were left brain damaged and mothers died too. Of the mothers that didn’t die, many were blamed for the death of their babies quite wrongly as it eventually turned out. The jury were sure. She's a psychopath, Wap. A convincing one, too.

This isn't or wont be the last time babies/people will be murdered by injecting air intravenously, (do not Goggle it), it's one of the very few methods that is undetectable to pathologists, along with fumes in a confined place from rotten potatoes, until they devise a syringe that can detect there was no fluid just air, then these deaths will go undetected.
All they need to do is develop syringes that will glow red if they have been inserted with no fluids, just air, I am sure it wont cost much money but will save many lives and might easily detect the next Lucifer Letby.

Well I will tell you what HAS NOT HELPED in this case, and in lots of other instances not so serious Chronic staff shortages, nurses in every part of the country doing more than is expected from them, nurses rushed off their feet, nurses trying to cut themselves into two, nurses exhausted and worn out, often burnt out. Pay that is lower in real terms than ten years ago, poorer terms and conditions, and the feeling we have a government that simply does not value or appreciate NHS staff. Little wonder that things are getting over-looked, and mistakes are been made, maybe if staff actually had the time to employ Due Dilligence and carry out checks, then maybe, just maybe this might not have happened. Yup. Chronic staff shortages forced the NHS to hire serial killers . Here’s an idea , let’s ship in some cheap Labour from abroad. If we’re lucky a few of them will speak English.

Perhaps she is,I said based on circumstantial evidence I have doubts. The jury, were they totally sure? Iirc at one point the judge said “I’ll accept a majority verdict” and it is reported that some cried when the verdicts were read out,was that because of the trauma of the evidence they sat through or perhaps their verdict troubled them?I don’t know. Lastly Andrew Malkinson, the jury were sure when they convicted him and I repeat I’m not certain in her case either way but I do know for sure that the prosecution will build a picture of a person in a negative light, that’s their job and they succeeded.

The circumstantial evidence against her is quite damning.
They moved her from nights to days and the pattern of unusual deaths shifted to days with her They moved her out of the ward and the deaths subsided, restarting (literally) the day after she was moved back. She had patient notes in her possession and had performed google searches on the families of some of the dead.
If she was framed, it was a work of dark art

Yeah it's a typical political football for sid and the plenty more lefty opportunists, Rayner and Starmer will be blaming the Tories .... the good old political point scoring opportunists, .... Rayner ... 'this could boost us up a point or two in the polls Keir' .... FFS they are sick in the head.

Not here but Australian law and courts operate in a very similar way to ours.
