In 2014 a law was introduced making it a criminal offence (punishable by up to 5 years in prison) for anyone providing medical care to willfully interfere with a patient's treatment. Doctors have been complaining to the media about how difficult it is nowadays to get rid of "Rogue nurses" ... the Admins appear to be protecting them (my opinion ... they don't want bad publicity). In some scenarios there are not just one or two "Rogue nurses" there are "gangs" of them. In the 90s the Patients Association said that when nurses get "callous and cruel" they put them on the wards with the elderly. In 2013 a "Senior county clinician" was quoted in my local newspaper as saying that he was very concerned about what was going on in the main Gloucester and Cheltenham hospitals. He said: "Cruelty was becoming normal". My local Age UK advocate recently told me that its still going on .. and gave me a really wild example. In 2021 27 nurses at my hospital contacted the media and said that when they report things that are putting patients at risk they get bullied by the Admin to the point where its affecting their mental health. Last year the CQC threatened criminal charges if the Surgical Department didn't get its act together.

The NHS managers are complicit in letby's crimes, but I guess they will get away with it stating the usual excuse of lessons have been learnt.

Absolutely, they'll just be moved to another hospital to carry on with their incompetence.

There will be one hell of an inquiry into why she was not stopped earlier , will it do any good? perhaps
Seven Doctors raised their concerns and suspicions, but NHS mangers overruled them , 17 families have had to sit through the 10 month long trial

I'm just glad to see the Daily Mail highlight the crimes of an evil white woman. We don't want any of her sort here. In fact I think we should electrocute them.

Like everybody else on here I didn’t sit through the whole trial but on what I’ve seen it is based on circumstantial and little if any physical evidence. I do hope they have come to the right conclusion and people aren’t in a couple of decades discussing a miscarriage of justice as in the case of Andy Malkinson recently cleared of rape after serving a long sentence for a crime he didn’t commit and originally convicted on circumstantial evidence. I see doctors are saying they weren’t listened to and they should’ve been but they are not infallible, witnessed by the two doctors Marietta Higgs and another bod whose name escapes me who were responsible for children removed from parents for sexual abuse on a entirely false theory. What I do not understand is why she was a) not removed from the ward or b) not subject to hidden observation by cctv which I know factually has happened in the past to families suspected of harm.

Perhaps she does have some mental disorder,I don’t know but even if she does it doesn’t follow that’s she’s guilty. What I do know is the media love hate figures and as some die off they need new ones, the papers and tv are revelling in this and out to break some grisly record of who has the most victims. I remember at the time of shipman whose guilt I don’t question and the following enquiry where there was another mad rush to pile on greater numbers. Apparently police are to look at over 4000 cases since Letby joined the nhs,why I’m not quite sure.

I've looked at what Allitt looks like today, and she's got the same vacant empty void look that Letby has.

The numptie who was in charge of that particular NHS admin left with a one million pension and walked into an even higher waged job..FFS this must be the only country to award those who fuck up just as they did with smarmer when he was head of the CPO..

Like I’ve already said I’m not sure of her guilt or innocence, what I do know that there have been three enquiry’s recently around maternity units in Nottingham,Morecambe bay and lastly Shrewsbury where they concluded over two decades hundreds of babies died were left brain damaged and mothers died too. Of the mothers that didn’t die, many were blamed for the death of their babies quite wrongly as it eventually turned out.

Exactly, that tosser Andrew Bailey boss of the BoE was CEO for the FCA, he fucked up big style there, it was reported to him time and time again pensioners were being scammed by two property developers who were sending out glossy brochures to potential investors of lucrative building plots, and artists impressions of luxury apartments , duping pensioners into handing over £76 million, then they went bankrupt and left pensioners broke financially and mentally.
The FCA fucked the incompetent fool off with a big pay off, then put the fuckin buffoon in charge of the BoE, and look what's happened, we always reward incompetence. .... you couldn't make this shit up.
