View AttachmentHere's a copy of the letter to Sadik Khan from the government in 2020, urging the mayor to set out proposals to extend the ULEZ scheme as soon as possible. The government were right - the London mayor is right, but please dont make the mistake of thinking that extending ULEZ is all down to Sadik Khan or even Labour, because it isent, this is just as much government policy - as posters can see from the letter.
Even if that were true, Siddly Fiddly, no one cares.
Labour & Khan are getting the blame for this and will pay the price in the upcoming elections.
Good.

That bullshit letter doesn't even back your own claim. I could not enlarge it to read it, but I do know that Khan had been told that should he propose to enlarge ULEZ the Government would not fund it they did not tell him to do it

So let me get this right
ULEZ was a Tory idea, proposed by Boris Johnson, and was planned to be put in place by Boris Johnson in 2020, but because Khan defeated Johnson in the London Mayoral election, and implemented Boris's plan, its all the fault of Sadiq Khan and Labour, and has nothing to do with the Tories.
Well thats certainly interesting

Well thats certainly interesting Get up to date , Khan has now declared that the ULEZ will not just cover the Boroughs within the North and South Circular Roads he has now expanded it to cover all of the London Boroughs , which means any residents living in London that owns a vehicle that does not comply with the emission controls either has to pay £12.50 per day to use them or scrap them or buy a vehicle that is complaint costing each one thousands of pounds It means that traders , builders, etc essential workers that live outside of London but work in London may not be able to get to work especially if they work a shift pattern, it may mean that some will have to give up work, deliveries to shops businesses will cost more so their prices will go up. Khan has been taken to Court by local Councils but they lost the case, Kent Council is now considering taking him to Court as ULEZ will have a negative effect of people who live in Kent that work inside London may struggle to get to work unless their cars compliant, there are some people who are damaging or removing the new cameras he has installed. He has increased Fares on the tubes in anticipation that more people will be forced to use the underground plus the fact TFL is skint under his watch, which should be running 24 hours so those who work anti social hours can get home but it does not the Unions will want more money to do that, Buses do run at night but not that frequently

And ULEZ is institutionally racist.

Siddly Fiddly, no one cares. Labour & Khan are getting the blame. As they should. Khan is in charge and is going ahead with the introduction despite opposition from across the political spectrum. If he is not to blame who is?

If he is not to blame who is? Well exactly. If the Tories told Khan to jump off Blackfriars Bridge would he do it?

But ironically around here TFL have just cut a number of bus routes including the one that I would have to use (if it actually ran at the times that I need to use it, which of course it doesn't).

It's a tax, pure and simple, and there should be no taxation without representation.
Sadly, we don't live in a democracy - we live in an establishment dictatorship where it makes very little difference who gets elected.

Which as of yet, there is not enough people willing to change that, until the establishment makes the final step over the line, which will be the straw that breaks the camels back. The chance came and went and now it will be a waiting game again.

Khan and TfL are in trouble again, they have been sending thousands of Parking Fines and Red Route captured on CCTV , not by Parking Attendants which according the media today is not lawful and have continued to do so even after being told it is unlawful, in the media today

One lefty inbred commie prick to replace another..... Jeremy Corbyn considering shock bid to become London Mayor in huge blow for Sadiq Khan Jeremy Corbyn has sent shockwaves through the Labour Party by revealing that he is considering running as an independent candidate in next year's London Mayor elections. The former Labour leader has been barred from running as a candidate for his old party by Sir Keir Starmer over the anti-semtisim row which dogged his leadership. But speaking at an Edinburgh Festival Fringe event with Conservative commentator Iain Dale and for Unite General Secretary Len McCluskey, Mr Corbyn gave his strongest indication yet that he is planning to run for London Mayor next May. Asked at the event if he was considering to make a bid for the mayoralty, he replied: "Well let's have a think about it, shall we?" If he does make a bid to run the UK's capital it will be a massive blow to Labour London Mayor Sadiq Khan who is already facing a stiff challenge because of his personal unpopularity and fury over his decision to expand the hated Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).

TfL 'broke law' and Sadiq Khan may have to refund £70m to fined Londonistan drivers Sadiq Khan could be forced to refund motorists millions of pounds in fines, after a landmark ruling. A tribunal in the capital has found that Transport For London "broke the law" by using CCTV and not traffic wardens to fine drivers. A panel of lawyers judged that TfL had contravened government guidance on the issuing of penalty charge notices (PCNs) to motorists parked on red routes in Londonistan. In 2015, the government introduced laws to limit the use of CCTV in issuing fines because of "overzealous enforcement by local authorities". The judgement could force TfL into refunding almost £70 million to aggrieved drivers.
