She was Irish, Ireland is an EU state. I would have thought this was the perfect place for such a thread. This isn't about politics, now stop being so disrespectful. The EU thread is for discussing EU matters. The death of an Irish singer has nothing to do with the European Union. She wasn't killed by Brussels bureaucrats. you can't prove that...that's an assumption borne out of your brainwashing by the EU.....show a link that say's she wasn't killed by EU Bureaucrats....you can't therefore she was......nerrrrrr....

I forgot she had converted to Islam which I see as a polarised reaction to sex-abuse in the Catholic church which upset her.
I guess she was a troubled soul.

As a singer she had a good voice though very small output at least commercially.

She did convert to Islam and had mental health issues for many years.
The saddest thing though was her son's suicide.
Wouldn't wish bereavement on any Mum.

I think it's probably time we had a dedicated RIP thread rather than starting a new thread every time someone dies. Her death has nothing to do with the EU either way. General discussion would have been more appropriate. It's not Nothing Compares to EU. Good idea. Start an obituaries thread in general chat and move this and Jane Birkin into it. You have the power! If I get the support of the rest of the mod team I will. |
