Now that the Police have had time to investigate the man who attacked the Migrant Holding Centre and know more about him, the conclusion by the Police according to days media is
Andrew Leak, 66, from High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, is believed to have killed himself after throwing two or three "crude" incendiary devices at the Western Jet Foil site, in Kent, last Sunday.
Tim Jacques, senior national co-ordinator for Counter Terrorism Policing, said: "Assessing when this crosses the terrorism threshold is a complex process and needs to be carefully considered on a case-by-case basis.
"These decisions need to be determined by the facts, as far as they can be established at any given time.
"After considering the evidence collected so far in this case, whilst there are strong indications that mental health was likely a factor, I am satisfied that the suspect's actions were primarily driven by an extremist ideology.
"This meets the threshold for a terrorist incident."

These holding centres tend to be full of women and children and the attack was a disgusting affair, but hopefully it can be left in the care of time. |

I agree no one in the Holding Centre or Staff were injured, the only casualty was the man who carried out the attack who in his state of mind took his own life

Rather than worrying about what will or won't upset the apologists on here, I'd be more concerned about the potential consequences of sitting by and gleefully embracing the practice of applying the terrorism label evermore liberally. |

I can't see much difference between right or left wing extremists. Both are marked by remarkably dim witted ideology, a total lack of compassion for their victims and a lot of emotional problems.

In most things harmful, I tend to leave definitions to experts and not partisan apologists and excusers. That way it becomes easier for them to mount protective counter measures… |

I don't know if the intended victims were men, women or children or simply defined themselves as such, but either way, I think throwing petrol bombs at them should be one of our no nos
