I agree no one in the Holding Centre or Staff were injured, the only casualty was the man who carried out the attack who in his state of mind took his own life Poor crazy sod. Poor crazy radicalised sod…

No info as such, but most of these guys seem to have had long conversations with God, Marx, Ayn Rand and the Tooth Fairy and end up radicalising themselves.

Whay makes you think he was radicalised? and by whom? For me the fire bombs were a big hint.

Whay makes you think he was radicalised? and by whom? My guess would be the open border crazy types and institutional corruption.

Rather than worrying about what will or won't upset the apologists on here, I'd be more concerned about the potential consequences of sitting by and gleefully embracing the practice of applying the terrorism label evermore liberally. In most things harmful, I tend to leave definitions to experts and not partisan apologists and excusers. That way it becomes easier for them to mount protective counter measures… There you go again. Who cares what your so called 'apologists and excusers' think. Why let them bias you in any way. shouldn't you be more worried about the tenuous application of 'terrorism' given the consequences of such a label both in terms of the erosion of rights to people suspected of / accused of / being investigated for / convicted of, and erosion of rights / consequences / stigma to those related to or otherwise associated to the same. Its a slippery slope we are on here, and letting it slide is a risky game. How long before protests (lets face it most have some element of political motivation) become an act of terrorism, with anyone in attendance who falls foul of the law, or is suspected of doing so, is branded a potential terrorist with due process that would usually apply going out of the window.

Whay makes you think he was radicalised? and by whom? For me the fire bombs were a big hint. Rather crudely made Molotov Cocktails that many people know how to make, he made his with fireworks attached to them I think two did not work, he was not playing with a full deck

It sounds like he was treated quite bad and was even writing about the problems on and off line. Of course, he was ignored and probably called names so he ended up doing this before taking his own life.
