European Union (EU) has had permanent observer status at the United Nations (UN) since 1974, and has had enhanced participation rights since 2011. The EU itself does not have voting rights but it is represented alongside its 27 members, one of which, France, is a permanent member of the Security Council. en.m.wikipedia.org › wiki European Union and the United Nations - Wikipedia Correct. So the EU does not have a permanent seat at the UN. Quite right too, stroppy upstarts. All 27 members have a seat but is represented under law. As for influence and soft power including trade, i'll leave that to your imagination. Which will mean nothing.

You just cant bring yourself to admit it can you, lol.

Btw Oracle, you neglected to answer this one. Sunak has committed the UK to investing in carbon capture, and lets not forget the UK produces just 1% of global carbon emissions. The EU produce 17% with the EU state of Germany producing a massive 8%. Are you criticising the EU?

I will endeavour to find the link I gleaned the info from, which will obviously be more reliable than a link from the EU.

If you scroll down on the link you'll find a list of the EU's sources, which include the IEA and the World Bank. Or are you concerned that they too might be in cahoots with the dastardly unelected dictators in Brussels?

I cant find it and I cant be bothered looking anymore, which obviously means I'm wrong. Fair enough, I'll take the hit on this one. Edit: It's a pity Oracle isn't here to see this, I'm sure she would appreciate it.

I told you it is because it is tiny and doesnt produce much. It trades and works on computers mostly in finance and services. The argument is pointless.

You are correct mate.....And this is from a pro climate bunch of twats......Here is the link to the source. The krouts are still in the EUSSR and are one of the high ranking culprits for high emmisions...
Why the UK's 1% of global emissions is a big deal 06 Oct. 2021 It's often claimed the UK, at 1% of global emissions, is too small to have an impact, often followed by 'what about China?'. But there's so much wrong with that calculation...

Nice link Jonksy, although it doesn't mention the EU it does show how polluting the EU state of Germany is. Hardly surprising when you consider how much coal they burn, but ffs don't tell Oracle.

Does it live inside your head , notwithstanding there is plenty of empty space in there, but herz's a BIG HINT. GLOBAL WARMING HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH. BREXIT. NOR DOES THE UN, NATO OR THE WTO. Are you so categorically stupid as to think rhat every road leads to Brexit? The Leave good, remain bad? Are you sp simplistic that even a football game is more complicated than go or stay? You and your mania need counselling.
