The official EU policy on the status of The Falkland Islands has not changed The policy is - that the people of The Falkland Islands have the right to determine their own status and future The people of the Falkland Islands already have. Therefore nobody has a right to fucking bully them.

What international law, or are you making up things to be as you wish them to be? Even the UN refers to Falklands/Malvinas. So what’s in a name…? In 1965, at the 20th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Fourth Committee determined that, in all languages other than Spanish, all UN documentation would designate the territory as the Falkland Islands. As usual, you're nearly 60 years behind the times...: 20 June 2023 Special Committee on Decolonization Adopts Resolution Requesting Negotiations Resume to Resolve Falkland Islands (Malvinas) Question
The Special Committee on the Situation with regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples today adopted once again a resolution requesting the Governments of Argentina and the United Kingdom to consolidate the current process of dialogue and cooperation through the resumption of negotiations to swiftly find a peaceful solution to the sovereignty dispute relating to the question of the Falkland Islands (Malvinas).

And why the fuck are you shouting up for Las Malvinas? You shouldn't be so sensitive, it's only a name that part of the Spanish-speaking world use. The rest refer to Falklands/Malvinas in their various ways.
Will you be complaining about the different names for the UK, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales in other languages...?

No what’s interesting Pat is that there are those ready to point their finger at the Brits not least some from these islands and witter about colonialism and still harbour the grudge for what was the most successful but now long gone empire who overlook the less successful but nonetheless large impact they made particularly on the indigenous South American Indians. Argentina is substantially of Italian and Spanish heritage, the Falkland Islands Brits who vote to stay that way, before the Europeans arrived the only indigenous population was birds and animals.

Only for those in the wider world with Anglo phobia and intent on looking the other way at others.

Rishi Sunak has criticised the EU for a "regrettable choice of words" after it appeared to endorse the Argentine name for the Falkland Islands. The prime minister's official spokesman said his view was it would have been "entirely unacceptable for the EU to question the Falkland Islanders' right to decide their own future". A diplomatic row risked breaking out after the EU referred to the disputed territory as Islas Malvinas in a declaration that was agreed at a recent summit. news.sky.com/story/regrettable-choice-of-words-eu-backs-down-after-calling-falklands-by-argentine-name-pm-12924158Wasn't this just a case of diplomatic language? It seems similar to referring to the NI province as Derry/Londonderry, in a bid not to insult either side.
