i can understand that being the case were we still in the EU but surely today we are considered by Verhofstadt and his cult to be more evil than china ? Fortunately the majority of the European public are far friendlier towards the Brits than his cult. There was a time during covid when the Brits banned Spanish holiday flights for health reasons which was perfectly reasonable and accepted as such, but even so you could taste the enthusiasm of the Spanish government to restore business. Dear lovely wonderful Brits, come here to Spain where we will love you to pieces and serve you our finest wines. Yep, they sure do love us, even with union jack shorts. That's capitalism at play. can’t speak for mainland spain but that’s certainly the reality in the canary islands a couple of months back despite the bullshit from georgina cutler on a dozen or more clickbait links suggesting the world hates us I remember 1981 smuggling sterling out to go on honeymoon in italy. I think i took twice what was allowed. The italians loved being paid in sterling given the lira was about as worthless as german marks at the height of the stupidity. My boss used to say iron curtain be buggered the restaurants and bars in Dubrovnik loved him. I’ll see if that’s still the case in a month and a bit. I suspect it is, tourist businesses love tourists no matter what their politicians tell them to think.

It's known as market forces, the bane of all budding Marxists.
