This is exactly the kind of insulting sexist comment which hugely supports my post he replied to. I choose not to invite such comments into my life. Good bye. I thought it was Oracle...

I thought it was Oracle... You should leave the thinking to the more qualified.

I maintain that the article I posted about the CPTPP is more relevant on this forum than anywhere else since the tenor of the article clearly suggests a comparison between the EU and post-Brexit Britain. At any rate, I do accept your decision to close the thread; however, I can not accept the tone of the comment of the Administrator and the manner with which I was told to post elsewhere. A good and effective moderator or administrator would have shown their member the courtesy and consideration to be informed via a private message. I am withdrawing my free membership but many thanks. Thanks for your contributions, Gnome. Hope you decide to return.

He was about as informed as a house brick. Tell us again about how dairy cattle are being fattened up for their beef.

well it is a loss. All forums need a mixture of opinions to thrive vinny.
What we dont want is some low IQ jerk circle patting each other on the back as they scream at each other in a dark corner.

Opinions yes, but endlessly spamming the board with debunked propaganda is something else entirely.

The thing is , with people like that they take the interwebby too serious and hate to say it , tend to burn themselves out when they realise no one else is taking them serious and flounce off in the huff.
Still to me it is a loss. Too late now though .

I agree. It's a common theme here: People complaining about the quality of discourse without considering that if they ride the same hobby horse all the time people eventually get bored and take the piss or no longer engage.

View AttachmentImagine in generations to come, or in the history books of the future, how people will laugh when they read how the British government decided to leave the European Union, and instead join a trade group on the other side of the world. Folks will think that The Monster Raving Loony Party were in government We left a political union, did a free trade agreement with it, our exports to it are worth a lot more than they were pre referendum (adjusting for inflation). Now, as well as doing an FTA with the EU, we've signed more free trade agreements. What are you upset about? The UK already had trade agreements with all but two countries. Brunei and Maylasia. They are not free trade agreements. There are limits and conditions written in. Now what was that about bricks?
