The issues which Mark Drakeford has called out the Home Office upon are, little or no consulatation with local people, and the local council, the jobs of the 95 hotel employees, and that the police and private contractor appointed by The Home Office have ignored valid legal issues concerning land ownership. Mr Drakeford has said that he expects Wales to "take its fair share of people who come here legitimately seeking asylum". So in other words Wales will never take in 'illegal migrants'..... the double standard hypocrisy of the loony lefties, so when are they taking in these so called 'legitimate seeking asylum' .... so they don't want any part of the illegal channel boat people ....... LOL

If he’s whingeing at the takeover of a hotel to house them its because its not luxurious enough

Twatford will be pleased.....LOL.......Well done people.........Excellent, well done to all who saw this is all wrong and decided to take action and not just sit back and moan about it with a streak of yellow running down their backs. Rest assured there will be more of this, the government ain't seen nothing yet!
Council orders Welsh luxury hotel which sacked staff to house migrants to STOP conversion works - as video shows moment protesters camping outside cheer when security leave premises..
Protesters are claiming victory after a siege ended at a top hotel due to take in more than 200 asylum seekers.
The four-star Stradey Park Hotel in Llanelli, South Wales, which allegedly sacked its staff after gaining the Home Office contract, has been surrounded by demonstrators who blocked off the two main entrances, trapping six security workers inside.
Police met with the protesters to ask them to give the guards - all ex-military - safe passage away from the hotel. They agreed and the security workers left peacefully as the mob chanted 'Cheerio, cheerio cheerio.'
Protest spokesman Stan Robinson told Mail Online: 'It's 1-0 to us - we won the battle but the war goes on. The protest will continue until this stupid idea is halted, although it may be scaled down now there is no one left inside the hotel.'
Meanwhile, demonstrators have won a second victory after the local council ordered builders to halt the construction of a new entrance to the hotel as it investigates a potential breach of planning rules.

And the WHOLE of the UK should follow, none of us want thousands of single young MEN illegal migrants wandering our areas, the Welsh are making a stand, if we all do the same we will send the message LOUD AND CLEAR.
Looking at those quite rightful angry protesters those migrants wouldn't be able to step foot outside that 'LUXURY' hotel for fear of their lives, when they get the message that they will **NOT BE WELCOME** into the UK unless they enter via the legal process then they might stop coming, they must be able to sense the hostility they are causing, best thing they can do is FUCK OFF BACK to France.

I mean I know this is a daft question, but have any of these illegals actually being asked do you want to stay in hotels, shipping containers, army barracks, or would you actually like to go to Rwanda?
In fact they should ask them is there any desired place other than the UK they would like to go, it would be cheaper for us to pay to fuck them off somewhere else once they realise they aren't getting a detached house, with a brand new car, tens of thousands a month in benefits, and other perks, they must realise by now the traffickers have conned them.

It's disappointing that the rent a mob didn't go the whole hog and wear blackshirts. Maybe Hugo Boss will consider sponsoring them.

If you think that is fair then you need a strong word with yourself, 100 people losing their livelihood to accommodate illegal migrants who wont have to pay one penny to stay there, and have never paid one penny in taxes, those 100 people could lose their own homes if they can't find other employment, you do know Llanelli is a small population with few job prospects, and the population will be rising by another 300.
