You may remember this from last Christmas Eve, 23 year old gunman Connor Chapman shot and killed Elle Edwards and wounded five other people when he opened fire with a Skorpion sub-machine gun outside a pub in Wirral. He has jus been sentenced to 48 years before he can be considered for parole. An exceptional sentence for sure, but I have to say, this is one of those clear cut cases where the judge should have had the option of donning the black cap.

Whole life is the only acceptable alternative to rope. And this bastard deserves a rope around his neck.

Wait for the appeal against conviction and sentence, bound to happen

My first response was that 48 years seemed a bit excessive when compared to sentences other people get.

Unless it's 48 years in a pool of piranha fish, it's not excessive at all.

If he lives long enough in Prison to serve the full term which IMO is slim as other gang members inside will be after him, he will be 71 when he gets out

My first response was that 48 years seemed a bit excessive when compared to sentences other people get. Only because we've become inured to the absurdly lenient sentences that the woke judiciary have seen fit to hand down in recent years.
And now an unexpectedly appropriate sentence seems harsh.

My first response was that 48 years seemed a bit excessive when compared to sentences other people get. Nonsense, in sentencing the judge isn't interested in other cases. FFS Pacifico he sprayed a group of people who were leaving a pub with a sub-machine gun killing one and injuring five. I fail to understand the rationale of anyone who says he should not have had been sentenced to at the very least, a whole life term. In my opinion he should be executed, meh.

I know this is about Elle Edwards murdering arsehole but this is in the same vane....What a prime example of how our leftywoke media cover for these bastards and even endorse it.
Top BBC star is taken off air after 'paying teenager £35,000 for sexual pictures'
The well-known presenter is said to have asked the teenager for 'performances'
A top BBC star has reportedly been taken off air pending an investigation after claims emerged that he paid a vulnerable teenager more than £35,000 for sexual images.
The well-known presenter allegedly began paying the teenager when they were 17, and sent them the money which they used to fund a crack cocaine addiction.
The child's mother, who has made the shocking allegations, told the Sun she feels 'sick' whenever she sees the man on TV.
The star was said to have requested 'performances' from the individual, who told their mother they would then 'get their bits out'.
The family made a formal complaint to the BBC in May, begging the corporation to stop the behaviour towards their child, now 20.
It is claimed he sent hundreds or even thousands of pounds at once, once depositing a sum of £5,000 in the teenager's bank account.

Elle's murderer who gunned her down on Christmas Eve was the first time he had not been in prison at Christmas time for five years, he has a very long list of Criminal Convictions.
Two other people he shot that night were very lucky to have survived his attack

Now this is what I call a sentence in Texas.
24-year-old white nationalist who killed 23 people in a mass shooting at a Texas Walmart in 2019 was sentenced to 90 consecutive life terms in prison by a federal judge on Friday.
Patrick Crusius's racially-motivated attack targeted Hispanic shoppers in El Paso on August 3, 2019, and left 22 people injured.
Just prior to the assault, the shooter had published a manifesto online, claiming that the attack was a response to what he called the "Hispanic invasion" of Texas.
During the hearing, Crusius remained silent and displayed no reaction when the sentence was delivered.
In a recommendation by US District Judge David Guaderrama, Crusius was advised to serve his sentence at a maximum security facility in Colorado, where he would have access to necessary treatment and counselling for a severe mental health condition.
However he could well be executed if changes to Texas Law come about which is on the cards

In my childhood such things were unheard of despite gun ownership being quite legal and the country full of war trophies. The fact is since Blair jumped into bed with the snowdrop snowflakes the government has smugly decided there is no such thing as gun crime as there are no guns. Not bothering to note that few criminals had licences for the weapons they routinely carry. I remember while staying at a B&B in Crossgates, Leeds while doing work for Yorkshire Electric, armed police raids in tbe road were a daily occurrence….
