Not only is it pointless and expensive, it is creating lasting damage to the Scottish people, their children are being brainwashed with dangerous and perverted gender bilge instead of being educated properly, the transport, medical, welfare and police services are suffused with rabid socialists, the corruption within the political sphere is breathtaking and all Scots are being exposed to a relentless anti British propaganda by an owned media. If the Scots vote this shower of tinkers, perverts, pikeys and deviants into power at the next election then they can only blame themselves. They can attempt to blame Westminster for almost anything (and they do), but it isn't Westminster that put this rubbish into Holyrood. ...probably a wee bit harsh but the sentiment's not lost on me.
I think the issue the Scots activists have to deal with is one of simple demographics...Scotland on its own becomes one of the poorest....unhealthiest....fattest and oldest populations in Europe if they decide to split from the UK. Having benefited in the past from a colossal amount of English taxpayers money to massage these effects, these activist are attempting to convince themselves (and brainwashing Scots into thinking) they can re-create what they currently have with the resources they can muster from an aging and unhealthy population. Scotland produces pretty much sod all with its banking and finance mostly headquartered in England; and faced with the potential economic collapse after the break any young Scots still left will probably leave to the UK or elsewhere (there are so many young Scots in London already)....so with the diaspora gone those fat old Scots that are left are then faced with paying the pension costs and health care costs etc..... which will obviously be a joke. Compared to the tax income they are left with less the huge English contributions they will lose (forget about the impact of any UK policy on currency with their forced adoption of Sterling) they have made the assumption that the EU will let them in and pick up the pieces. HOwever, based on these simple demographics alone there is no way that the EU will allow them access to the benefits of the union....not a snowballs chance in hell. I think that if you are, as your chosen name suggests, a Scotsman, you show a distinct lack of knowledge regarding the Scottish political scene.

Indeed I agree, I have zero understanding of the "political scene" in Scotland. On the basis that nothing of this concoction makes any sense anymore other than some farcical "political narrative" I have to agree with you; indeed I'm not professing any knowledge of the politics and to be frank the politics don't interest me one iota. For me It's simply the reality of the situation.

Don’t you mean Turkey’s factories ….. First line of that says the company is being relicated by its TURKISH owners. Maybe if the owners traced their roots to a village in the highlands instead of a camel stable in a sand filled shithole the factory might be staying where it is.
