so does labours potential next government. Not only that , labour didnt even want the original brexit referendum much to the ridicule of even the liberal democrats.
As i said , demcoracy seems to be something that is difficult for you and many in your country to understand.
It might astonish you but i very much doubt that the next election has anything to do with brexit. People are more concerned about being made homeless, thanks to the last 13 years. You think ? I think brexit will dominate many elections for a while yet much to your dissapointment.
homelessness reached a peak under the last new labour goivernment in 2008 across the uk. The idea its all down to the tories , when labour were more than happy to carry on tory housing policies started under thatcher is laughable.
Christ thatcher built more social housing in her time in government than new labour did in 13 wasted years.

I certainly hope that most British people are well beyond your obsession and have seen the supporters of the idea who lied their way into power, crumble into ridicule, hatred and derision. The thousands who find travel more costly and difficult. And next year will have to pay for a visa to go to the EU. etias.com/etias-requirements/etias-for-british-citizensThose who lost their businesses or jobs. Those who have now recognised that there was never a loss of sovereignty, who bzgan to learn that there is far more democracy in the EU than in the rigged UK system. Who now find it difficult to find work in the EU as the UK economy shrinks. And who care far more about making znds meet under the Brexot government than ever before. That in point of fact, there are far more balanced, sensible honest people than the endlessly tedious ones I see in this tiny fragment of the internet. And yes, housing is far more difficult in the last 14 years. Where are the 40 new hospitals? Why are schools crumbling? Why is social housing becoming uninhabitable. What has Brexit done for you?

May -- really. The reluctant Leaver but a leaver just the same. Shamed, guilt-tripped, party loyalty questioned, dragged kicking and screaming until she played party politics and supporter "Leave" for the sake of the Tory party. As you yourself admit, it's all politics. Innit? Anyone who puts Olly Robbins in charge of negotiating an exit deal obviously has no interest in actually leaving.. ^ Doesn't matter. What matters is that Teresa May may have been, privately and personally, a remain supporter but played politics and supported leaving in the the end. Like Johnson and Corbyn.

Well it doesnt matter what May supported - all her ideas were thrown out by Parliament. Parliament decided the post-brexit deal with the EU after May had resigned.

Brexit is a success. It has brought the benefit of improved trade with the world and an above inflation increase sales to the EU.
How anyone can still pretend otherwise, is ridiculous.

So, why question my categorising her as a leaver like Johnson and Corbyn? Because, as I have already pointed out, she did nothing to promote leaving the EU.

The remoaners are living in a fantasy. They will never admit they were wrong.
EU membership failed. Even HP Sauce production was moved to the continent when we were in. Manufacturers left us in their droves. But suddenly a vote for independence, a devalued pound and we're selling more to the EU than we did as members and they're spitting feathers.
Fuck the racist pro EU cult.

What do you mean my obsession? I voted remain. Im talking politics on a political forum , and giving my view. Sorry if you dont like alternative views and wish to live in cloud cuckoo land .
You certainly arent one of them judging by your posts ive read on here. The way i see it you failed misreably to persuade people of your view in 2016 , and have been failing miserably in every election since. Your side have another chance in the next election , and its looking good under your pro EU starmer , but dont over egg the pudding oracle and throw it at the last minute.
A lot of the problems we see started under the new labour government. With new labours track record , i would keep silent on housing if i were you pal.
Flooding the uk with mass immigration during the blair years , barely building any houses , thatcher building more social housing , then carrying on right to buy , and opposing the snp ending it in scotland. You and new labour are a large part of the problems we see today. You are not the solution.
you arent the most aware person are you? Once more , i didnt vote brexit , and i didnt expect it to do anyhting for me.
Rather than posting guff on this thread to me , why arent you addressing this to the people who voted brexit , and from what i see would do so again?

AH. Having spend hours in here defending Brexit while evidence and facts show clearly that it has made life far more difficult for a large number of people, znd th4 "sovrreignty: it offered the country has become a sick joke, you now declare that sunce you didnt vote for it, you have done a 180 u-turn and defend the result, denying the obstacles it has brought. Further you are skipping back to pre 2016 And the last Labour government to blame them for the 13 years of Brexit Tory rule And the utter clusterfuck they have been. Is there no limit to your duplicity and dishonesty?
