Come 2025 and with a probable (if we believe the polls) Labour government the Trade and Cooperation agreement is up for review .
It maybe looked like a good move by Johnson to include the revision clause in the deal which gave us basically a fresh go at it every 5 years . That could now backfire with Starmer looking toward a closer relationship .
The continual brexit bashing by our national broadcaster along with various other media is preparing the ground for closer ties with the EU . Johnson then Truss removed , Sunak for what he is worth unelectable
Is Brexit in danger ? Looks like it to me ,our best hope looks like some form of Brino even rejoining the SM
happy 7th Independence day !

Looks like it to me ,our best hope looks like some form of Brino even rejoining the SM happy 7th Independence day ! Brexit has always been in danger, there have always been people behind the scenes working to get us back in to the EU. Heseltine, Major, Blair lots of current MP's the civil service and trade unions, and with pro EU Starmer likely to be the next prime minister, I sense Brexit will be watered down to the point where it's pointless. Of course Starmer will insist he wont hand us back to the EU. It will be like 1992 when Major patted the electorate on their heads as he signed Maastricht and with a smile said don't be silly, there is no question of the UK being governed from Brussels, and of course we will retain our national sovereignty. Bloody liar. It will be interesting to see what people like Richard Tice and Nigel Farage come up with. Pro EU types will sneer as they did when Farage started UKIP, but the prospect of a pro EU Labour government is boosting support for a UKIP style party, perhaps it will be Reform, who knows. In the event of a hung parliament smaller parties will become very important.
