GB News is currently comming from a pub in Barnsley which as we all know is traditionally a Labour stronghold yet the audience are absolutely scathing of Starmers Labour party. At the end of the hour long discussion Michelle Dewberry the presenter of the programme asked the audience for a show of hands, she asked who would vote Tory at the next election - not a single hand was raised. She then asked who would vote Labour, and not a single hand was raised. Farage at Large is about to start, from the same pub. GB News. Freeview 236. You know it makes sense.

Lets hope they go for Reclaim or Reform or an independent. Yes indeed, Farage is still very popular which will help reform. It's going to be interesting.

No offence Red but GB News caters to a tiny audience of believers who prefer their news to be what they want it to be rather than what it actually is. No surprise surely that an audience of GB Newswatchers all vote the same way.
If you took an opinion poll at the Lib Dem party conference and it predicted a Lib Dem landslide, you would be pretty stupid to believe that would be replicated at the next GE.
Most likely outcome of the next election is that reform win zero seats and Reclaim lose 100% of their one.

Dappy, have you ever watched GB News? If you had you would know there are a damned sight more left wing commentators on GB News than right wing commentators on the BBC. Sometimes I think GB News may have gone overboard on their lefty representation in order to counter obvious slurs from outraged lefties. For instance, I'm sure you know of Stephen Pound, Labour MP for Ealing North from 1997 to 2019. A very eloquent and often witty speaker and a regular on GB News. Aaron Bastani is another, he is co founder of Novara Media a left wing media organisation (See Ash Sarker) How about Benjamin Butterworth? He's a left wing reporter who has worked for the Guardian and the Independent, and a regular on GB News. I could go on there are loads of them. The only reason lefties don't watch or know anything about GB News is because it's got 'GB' in the title, so it must be racist, right kids.

Your question was just a question Red. It’s not a rhetorical question. Do you know the meaning of the word.
I have tried to watch it. I found it laughable. Always seemed to have the same Australian/NZ presenter - Ben ? Dan? Something like that feeding pure propaganda. When an interviewee was on the screen largely still featured Ben gurning so the audience would be absolutely clear whether or not the guy talking who was on a tiny split screen should be agreed with or not.
If you want to watch it watch it. If you want your news source to tell you what you want to hear rather than what is happening , crack on. It’s a free country. But don’t make the mistake of believing that the news presented us objective or that it represents the views of the majority.
Take this thread as an example. They have fed you the lie that the people of Barnsley will overwhelmingly vote Reform at the next election. You want to believe that so you have taken that as a true reflection of the current state of play. You have been lied to as will be revealed at the next election. The really odd thing is that when the lies get revealed over and over again, you don’t seem to get angry at being lied to. You just go back again the next day and lap up yet more lies. It’s very odd.

BARB
In May it got 0.35% market share and average view time of less than a minute. It’s hardly a commercial success but then that’s not really its aim.
As I say if you enjoy watching it, watch it. If you hear what you want to hear and don’t mind it telling lies and misrepresenting reality, that’s your choice.
Look at this thread. Poor old Red was given the impression that Barnsley was almost 100% voting Reform. It’s what he wanted to hear so he believed it. Is it true? No of course not but for GB Newswatchers truth doesn’t seem to matter.
