Assuming you're talking about Boris I wonder what you think he lied about. He's exaggerate a few things and left a few facts out - but even according to the sainted "Theresa May" this is OK. He's never told the massive lies like she did or like Sunak does most of the time.

Peter Shore was campaigning for us to leave the European project for years before Johnson even became a politician. Johnson was a johnny come lately who jumped on the bandwagon when he saw what way the wind was blowing. Previously he was in favour of remaining in the EU - so the idea that leaving the EU's was Johnsons brainchild is somewhat at variance with reality..  |

He was there, he lied and he hobbled the UK with higher import and export costs, having to still pay into the EU, became an fdi pariah, has the slowest growth in the G7 and discredited the UK globally. |

What did he lie about? Lots of people call Boris a liar but when asked for an example they can never give any. If you're thinking of the £350 million on the side of the bus, that wasn't Boris's doing. He did say that there would be no border in the Irish Sea which turned out to be wrong, but that was because the EU decided to weaponise it and put hugely disproportionate and nitpicking checks on trade with NI. Boris never thought they would do that - although he maybe should have guessed. The "lie" about no covid rules being broken in Number 10 was what he had been told. The thing is that Boris might live in Number 10 but he doesn't go round monitoring every room - over 200 people work there - and there are loads of police who work there and they never reported any crimes. So what are these lies. |
