And you're ignoring the factors which propelled Boris into office. Those who were deceived and deluded about many things voted in the jolly clown… Those who voted to leave the EU you mean. What exactly was I deceived over, when I voted to leave? What exactly was I deluded over, when I observed the failings of the EU, and David Cameron's inability to reform it? Just because you don't like Brexit, doesn't mean we were deceived or deluded in voting for it. The opposition parties left us no other choice than to elect Boris as the man to get us out. They could have taken ownership of it and the Tories would have been stumped. Instead of Boris, they'd have faced Theresa May. And she'd now be toast.

Well, you started the thread in conspiracy theories, I thought it polite to contribute. Especially after reading a Telegraph report today, which must mean they heard of an alleged conspiracy. I agree that the whole of the establishment working to get him out is an afront to our democracy. True, but what good is democracy to BLM and other minority cults that Labour depend on? A slimy dictator funded by American crooks is more useful.

I think it's pretty obvious that Boris was ousted by a loose alliance remainers and remain-supporting organisations like the BBC, Civil Service. Most of the MPs are basically remainers.

It has nothing to do with leavers and remainers. Johnson was booted out because he lied to parliament, sacked his ethics advisor, twice, defended a sex pest, defended a bully, prorogued parliament, lied to the Queen, .......... You seem to doubt the evidence when it obvious.

Well enjoy your jubilation at his demise,Johnson has his faults that’s for sure and imo jumped on the brexit wagon to further his political career.
But make no mistake about this the likes of Harperson and some in the Tory party should leave a bad taste in the mouth because this is more than about destroying Boris..
We have had other leaders in the past who did far more damage to this country and in some cases parts of the rest of the world yet are still feted and honoured.
This is about the slow turn around of 2016 I wonder (but very briefly because I know the answer) that they couldn’t devote as much venom to what were imo war crimes.
And I’ll take no lectures RR from you on what is permitted to be discussed, your attitude in that direction would’ve made you a shoe in on this committee lynch mob.
Why any former MP is entitled to a commons pass I’m not sure but by convention they are and the final shot from Harperson’s horrors are he be denied one given the aforementioned criminality of others it’s another sign of what this is about and as sure as hell not standards, they long ago disappeared.

If Labour had honoured the referendum they wouldn't be viewed with such disdain by their traditional heartlands. And lets face it, we all know who Boris is. We all know what the alternative was (and that Hamas supporting beardy git Corbyn was even worse). This thread is not about Brexit or Corbyn or the voters. It is about Johnson and his victimhood. GB News fans say Johnson was OK and doing alright until the green witch started manipulating his mind. I must admit it looks like that, but the running OK bit was because Dom was in charge- the only guy who knew what he was doing.

I'm not surprised that Boris has been found guilty of misleading parliament. I would have thought that any reasonable person would have come to the same conclusion. He could have avoided all this with an apology after the first denial and there would have been no action. What I am surprised at is the severity of the recommendations, which have an air of spite to keep him away from Parliament. Bear in mind he is an ex PM and will always be in the pay of the public purse for his years of service. Some might laugh at or ridicule his years of service, but he did a difficult job under pressure and failed under it.

This has got to be the newest conspiracy theory. Boris Johnson was ousted as PM and parliament by a left wing coup involving Labour, the SNP, the LibDems, the independents, the Greens, the Standards committee, the civil service, the wokes, Gary Lineker and an awful lot of Tory MPs. Kangaroo court, undemocratic, enemies of the people............ Johnson was the cause of his own downfall but true to type he is blaming everyone else. He is a lying, corrupt, racist and an insult to the people of this country. The last sentence aught to be chiselled onto his gravestone, by changing is to was.

I think it's pretty obvious that Boris was ousted by a loose alliance remainers and remain-supporting organisations like the BBC, Civil Service. Most of the MPs are basically remainers. They didn't hold back. It's obviously not enough that he isn't the PM, they have to try and destroy the man in a public show trial rigged by Labour. He did, after all, do what he said he would do. It's the Green nonsense and lockdowns which actually did his reputation damage, but these are things that Labour would have pushed with greater force.

Very good comment, he had the problems of Brexit, Covid and the economy on his plate, and the result was that he wasn't perfect and has been humiliated for his efforts.
That leftie yob layabout O'Brian has done fuck all with his life except rubbish other people on his shite chat show, same with Harman and the others.
Boris might be eccentric and have many failings, but he did have a go and he should get credit for that.
