Johnson resigns and two supporters go with him meaning at least three by-elections — and now Sturgeon arrested.
Starmer must wonder what he’s done to get the Gods to smile on him.
If an election comes sooner than expected, Sunak has the Tories In disarray, and the SNP will have as big a fight as the Scottish Conservatives on their hands to stop a Labour resurgence…

You think there is going to be an early election? I would get some pills from the doctors, you appear to be losing your mind lol.
Seriously though, inflation has peaked, interest rates are peaking, energy prices are falling so only an idiot would call an election before these things drop even further.
In 18 months the economy is going to be in a very different place. Nothing to do with the Tories, but they will claim it is of course. If the polls start to narrow the pressure will be back on Starmer, and the Labour Party is a far from happy place.

As for Labour, well that's another story... plenty of shit will hit the fan with Harriet Harmon and Sue Gray, these two things will be the downfall of Labour ... keep this post for future evidence to prove .... I said it FIRST.

If the SNP vote does fall, where are those votes going to distribute to?

Well, the Tory's votes have fallen but they haven't gone to Labour.

If the SNP vote does fall, where are those votes going to distribute to? Who cares. That's Scotlands problem. We have enough to worry about in England hash.

I don’t expect there to be an early election for the reasons you state — but sometimes logic leaves political parties. Sunak has his hands full containing the various dissenting factions within his own party, and they kicked out the May, Johnson, and Truss. If enough of them get fed up, the Tories could find themselves unable to govern…

Harmon, Gray and “Currygate” — all Daily Mail causes that have now been rubbished by the evidence and findings — are out of the equation. Johnson’s resignation letter and the yet to be published report are the main focus of attention for now and probably months to come. Starmer has a clear run…

If the SNP vote does fall, where are those votes going to distribute to? My prediction would be Labour not all its supporters wanted independence…
