Biggest food producer in Europe. Invaded by cunts. Food prices up. Simple. Nothing to do with Brexit. You've got to start getting that message out there, Vinny. Telling us won't help. Did you see the thread I started today? Even Brexiters believe Brexit is a contributing factor to food inflation. Now, it's extremely unlikely that you're right when you say that Brexit isn't a contributing factor. But who cares even if you're right? The Brexit result was achieved with lies and misinformation. It's unpopular with the public now, with even Brexiters seeing the folly of their ways. If what people believe about the causes of food inflation turns out to be based on misinformation, then all the better - Brexit came about as a result of misinformation, it might as well die that way. The BMG poll shows that nobody believes you when you keep repeating that Brexit isn't a cause. So, you might as well keep-on peddling your rubbish - it's having no effect whatsoever

The majority see Brexit as a contributing factor. That's all that matters.

Food price inflation in the EU: ec.europa.eu/eurostat/web/products-eurostat-news/w/DDN-20230508-2Ukraine is the big supplier of sunflower oil, rape seed oil etc. That is the reason for inflation of food prices in the EU, not us. It affects everyone and the sooner Ukraine are free, and back to trading as normal, the better. And, once Ukraine have defeated Putin, if they want to join the EU and vote to do so, that is their right and must be respected.

Vinny, I've effectively just copied and pasted your defence to the claim that Brexit isn't a contributing factor. I will be happy to do it again anytime you desire. Because it's having no effect whatsoever. People just don't believe you, as a recently published poll shows. When Starmer creates Brino, there won't be major opposition. Just you and a few other cultists on forums like this whinging that Brexit was never given a chance.

The large farming community in my neck of the woods are getting higher prices due to the war.
